Ha ha ha, what a w**ker. Andrew Neil has ruthlessly exposed Boris Johnson as a phoney and a fraud. But it won't make any difference flip.it/2HJ_ZHWho do you think WOULD make a good leader of this country? That's a loaded question. Personally I dont mind, should I say I accept, a leader who has differing political priorities than mine, as long as they are thought through, coherent, add up and well argued. So that narrows it down quite a bit. So one from Dominic Grieve, David Gauk, Yvette Cooper or Stella Creasey.

I have said it before but the Tories don't need a leader for the next five years. They need a leader for now. Failure to deliver on the now, and you can forget about the next five years.

Just shoot me if Rabb or Truss get Chancellor On the positive side at least John McDonnell is not in the frame. How dangerous and damaging would that be. Frightening thought.

Doesn't Truss already work in the Treasury anyway? Javid would be the decent choice. He's worked in 'The City' y'know ! He seems to know his way around finances more than most. "Javid had an 18-year City career where he rose to become a Board member of Deutsche Bank International. Javid joined Chase Manhattan Bank in New York City immediately after graduation, working mostly in South America. Aged 25, he became a vice president. He returned to London in 1997, and later joined Deutsche Bank as a director in 2000. In 2004, he became a managing director at Deutsche Bank and, the following year, global head of Emerging Markets Structuring. In 2007, he relocated to Singapore as head of Deutsche Bank's credit trading, equity convertibles, commodities and private equity businesses in Asia, and was appointed a board member of Deutsche Bank International Limited. He left Deutsche Bank in 2009 to pursue a career in politics. His earnings at Deutsche Bank would have been roughly £3,000,000 a year at the time he left and the Evening Standard once estimated his career change would have required him to take a 98% pay cut."

May nearly fu(ked it up for 'em, can't see them doing it again.

Were they rip roaring years? I bet he made a packet selling CDOs' nearly bankrupting the banks when it was discovered they were near worthless. Look at the state of Deutsche Bank now. Yep, a prime candidate to be Tory Chancellor.

Meanwhile rubbishes his own argument
www.mirror.co.uk/news/politics/boris-johnson-launches-bizarre-nonsensical-18332494?1
Addressing the crowd in London last night at his final campaign performance, Mr Johnson whipped out the plastic-wrapped fish which he said he had been handed by a national newspaper editor.
Mr Johnson claimed a kipper smoker is "utterly furious" because apparently his costs have been increased by EU rules he said mean each fish must be accompanied by a plastic-wrapped ice pillow.
"Pointless, expensive, environmentally-damaging health and safety, ladies and gentlemen," Mr Johnson said.
Except Mr Johnson revealed that the kipper smoker is from the Isle of Man.
Which isn't in the European Union.
So why do fish exporters not in the EU follow the rules of the giant trading bloc - driving up the costs of humble kipper smokers?
Well because if it they didn't they wouldn't be allowed to sell those tasty flecks of smoked fish to the European market.
And this - economists, international trade experts and lawyers have warned - is basically what is going to happen to the UK in a post Brexit trade deal.

But the point is William, you are forcing remainers to the same fate. With no valid argument.
