Thank God it's Johnson. We could have had a lying cheating idiot who has no chance of delivering any sort of Brexit deal whatsoever.
Sleep well everyone.

prominent Brexit supporter Liam Fox gone (although he did say Boris was wrong on GATT 24 so there is that)
Penny Mordaut gone from Defence. suggestion she was offered another role but didn't want it

Very surprised about Mordaunt, the cynic in me wonders if Trump has requested a more compliant Defence Secretary. In reality, probably just removing Team Hunt players. Wonder if Amber Rudd will stay.
Not surprised about Fox, also some suggestion of Cabinet posts being reduced and strengthened with trade maybe being subsumed.
Rumours of a two thirds Leave and one third Remain ratio as a unifying attempt.

Now Boris has the ear of Trump, and the world stage on which to act out his comedy act, he might actually start to believe in the stuff he says. Scary.

Things to look forward to....
The new leader of the House Mr J. Rees-Mogg vs Mr J. Bercow - That could become very entertaining. Johnson v Steptoe at PMQ's - Could be a bloodbath.

One is a Dam buffoon and the other is like a more boring version of a geography teacher. If that's the best this country has to offer as leaders we are completely f**ked.

General Election in November is my reading. He has assembled a team with Dominic Cummings just for that purpose.

Only way the policies in Westminster will reflect the needs of ordinary, working class people living in Britain and not the elite few. Do I think Labour would win a potential election? With Corbyn, no.

It really does not matter who promotes policies that are in the interest of all... unless of course you are an ideologue, in which case you vote leave.

I try to be a neutral observer of politics in this country as much as possible and it’s just as well when you’ve got Boris, Corbyn and Swinson to choose from.

But at some point, in the very near future, we are, those of us on the centre ground, are going to have to stand up and resist these very insane ideologues. In the interim...take care.

Is this something you picked up from your twenty rip roaring years in the City?
