I see the ridiculous legal case against Boris has been thrown out. What a waste of time and money. That Marcus Ball character is a disgrace - I wonder if those contributing hundreds of thousands of £'s to his fund raising will question the use of funds, particularly what Mr Ball himself is making out of his full time role?

Such a shame about Johnson, it would have been great to see, and hear, him questioned in the dock by a QC under oath. Ah well. I note the faux outrage that this was even attempted. A private citizen, using private but openly declared financing attempting to use the court system in a proper way.
Whatever next.
Hopefully Johnson will get his due for the lies he told and portrayed.

Politically motivated nonsense. The left won't accept democracy so resort to nastiness and dirty tricks. A total embarrassment of a story.

"Johnson’s lawyers argued the prosecution was politically motivated, and said the 350 million figure “was just a political claim” that voters could accept or reject." So it might be true, it might not be. Either way it's a political claim, as opposed to a statement of fact. And leavers fell for it.

If you were stupid enough to misunderstand it, well, nothing will change that. How do you tally up with PM May saying 108 times that we will leave the EU on March 29th? How does it compare to the 850,000 job losses, 6% drop in GDP etc etc spouted by Remain?

Btw, I have no idea why you would suggest I believed anything in the Leave Campaign? I voted remain, no if, and or buts or indeed "whatabout"

Had to laugh this morning. Gove admits to snorting coke whilst a journalist in the late 90s Stewart admits to smoking opium in Iran at a wedding there in the same period Johnson has previously admitted to Coke and now his lawyers have admitted his claims during the referendum were "politiical" (formerly known as lies) Raab says he will shut Parliament down if he doesn't get his way.
In the wings, the bete noir of the Tories is being privately funded to a lavish level by people of dubious intent.
What could possibly go wrong?
Oh did I forget? Widdicombe believes sexual preference is "treatable"
f**k me.

Michael Gove is married to Sarah Vine who writes in the Daily Mail.
Daily Mail interviews MG who 'confesses' to a past misdemeanour. Wonder if this is clearing the decks before the campaign officially starts on Monday or cover for a more politically serious issue.
Expect the Daily Boris, sorry Telegraph, to run a 'frank' story soon.
As Blackadder may have said, I smell something fishy, and I'm not talking about the contents of Nobby's apple strudel.

So, the official list is:
Environment Secretary Michael Gove Health Secretary Matt Hancock Former Chief Whip Mark Harper Foreign Secretary Jeremy Hunt Home Secretary Sajid Javid Former Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson Former Leader of the House Andrea Leadsom Former Work and Pensions Secretary Esther McVey Former Brexit Secretary Dominic Raab International Development Secretary Rory Stewart
Crystal ball time, I think Andrea Leadsom and Mark Harper will be first to go.
As the drug issues have backfired, Gove will either drop out or will be eliminated about half way. McVey probably about this time too as will Raab and Stewart.
Final two will be from Hunt, Javid, Hancock and Johnson.

Some plan to re-negotiate the WA, some talk about another extension...just where have they been for the last two years? Parliament is dead. There is nothing to debate. There are no new bills/laws being discussed. All of the work from the last Queen's Speech has finished. A new Parliamentary Session is needed, but that will need a Queen's Speech. The current government fear they will lose the vote that accepts the Speech, thereby triggering a GE. The country is not being governed. It seems as though all avenues end up at a GE, but both the Tories and Labour don't want one at this point.
