It's just staggering some of the crap they are coming out with. Some plan to re-negotiate the WA, some talk about another extension...just where have they been for the last two years? Parliament is dead. There is nothing to debate. There are no new bills/laws being discussed. All of the work from the last Queen's Speech has finished. A new Parliamentary Session is needed, but that will need a Queen's Speech. The current government fear they will lose the vote that accepts the Speech, thereby triggering a GE. The country is not being governed. It seems as though all avenues end up at a GE, but both the Tories and Labour don't want one at this point. Don't blame me, I voted remain 😑 So you'd be happy to still have Cameron as PM? You sad boy

Toast isn't made from jam or marmite. Are you suggesting that you would like to smear jam or marmite over the "toasted" PM after 31 Oct? Are you Bolders in disguise?? Got to say, and this does sound horrific, but the Germs like to put jam on their toast! She Who Casts No Shadow thinks I'm some sort of caveman because I only put butter on my toast. "uncivilized island monkey" is the term she uses.

We would have had Boris anyway just avoiding the three years of hurt and embarrassment in the meantime. Corbyn's inability would have continued and he would have been replaced with a GE lined up for 2020.

Such a shame about Johnson, it would have been great to see, and hear, him questioned in the dock by a QC under oath. Ah well. I note the faux outrage that this was even attempted. A private citizen, using private but openly declared financing attempting to use the court system in a proper way. Whatever next. Hopefully Johnson will get his due for the lies he told and portrayed. But that's the point Oldie, he didn't tell lies. f**k me Nobby, he must be the only person in Westminster not to tel lies then!! I agree that it was a stupid and pointless case but only because suing a politician for lying would be like suing a fish for swimming!

Surprise, surprise. Daily Telegraph commissioned poll suggests only Johnson will win a majority and a landslude too!!!
"The ComRes poll in the Johnson-supporting Telegraph suggests the following general election outcomes with the leading candidates:
• Current - LAB win, short of majority by 36 seats • Boris Johnson - CON win, majority of 140 • Dominic Raab - CON win, short by 57 seats • Sajid Javid - LAB win, short by 69 seats • Michael Gove - LAB win, short by 73 seats • Jeremy Hunt - LAB win, short 84 seats"

He's a character and that's why he will win. Wouldn't be surprised if he beat Corbyn in a GE too.

A resurgent Lib Dem party will pull in Labour support. If Boris turns the Tories into the Brexit party he has a good chance.

Probably better off making Ant and Dec joint Prime Ministers

Meanwhile, over at Brexit Party HQ, their members displaying their knowledge and intellect. Brexit Party MEP mocked after falsely bragging about taxpayers paying for ‘fleet of Mercs’ flip.it/BhQ7.a

Looking at all the Tory candidates for the PM's job it's pretty obvious it's a shallow pool to choose from. Then again, there is always this tackle.............

I get the impression a lot of other people feel the same, including many Tories.

So, the official list is: Environment Secretary Michael Gove Health Secretary Matt Hancock Former Chief Whip Mark Harper Foreign Secretary Jeremy Hunt Home Secretary Sajid Javid Former Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson Former Leader of the House Andrea Leadsom Former Work and Pensions Secretary Esther McVey Former Brexit Secretary Dominic Raab International Development Secretary Rory Stewart Crystal ball time, I think Andrea Leadsom and Mark Harper will be first to go. As the drug issues have backfired, Gove will either drop out or will be eliminated about half way. McVey probably about this time too as will Raab and Stewart. Final two will be from Hunt, Javid, Hancock and Johnson. NcVey as well, but not too far off. RESULT: First round of Tory leadership contest Michael Gove: 37 Matt Hancock: 20 Mark Harper: 10 Jeremy Hunt: 43 Sajid Javid: 23 Boris Johnson: 114 Andrea Leadsom: 11 Esther McVey: 9 Dominic Raab: 27 Rory Stewart: 19 313 votes were cast, which means all Tory MPs voted.

Reads like the line up for the Edinburgh Fringe Festival

I would definitely be after Javid but knowing me I'd wind up with Gove. Fml
