Do you think Roy & Archer will be picked for The Ashes? Think Roy is a certainty, Archer though, it might have come too soon for him. Would love to see him playing, banging it in at 95MPH knocking those Aussies over. I`ll be surprised if he doesn`t play in the Ashes. If we don`t pick him, and we start off badly, the clamour to include him will be deafening.

They will both be picked imo. I think 7 or 8 of these players will be in the Ashes squad. Morgan and probably Plunkett and Woods are the 3 that wont be there. Roy is now a shoe in, it'll be interesting if they keep Bairstow as Roy's opening partner or put him back in his usual Number 7 for tests. Anderson and Broad will be in the Ashes squad, Archer and Woakes will be the other pace and I think Rashid will get the nod over Ali as the spinner. |
