Yeah I think it sums it all up pretty well. They probably had good intentions but unfortunately far right groups have a habit of latching onto things that aren't strictly their remit but might have people within it that sympathise with them.
Far-right extremism is, in my opinion, by far the scariest minority group in the UK right now, not least because a large number of people might agree with parts of their ideology and share it around on social media etc. Spreads like wildfire.
Football is a great tool for peace, but groups like this need to do more to distance themselves from the far-right movement.

I agree with you.Without turning this thread into a huge row over views like one on here last week, your right. These far right morons jump on anything or person that talks about, or knocks a relgion/faith,or section of society.Take Tommy Robinsin for example. The media portrays him as being far right but the far right groups hate him as much as the muslims do for his work as he is not far right! The media prints blatant lies about him and brands him far right tho and then the average Joe on the street see's or reads this and doesnt look into what Tommy is really trying to do or expose. These lads have a good intent but the loons of the world, the racist scum of this country will be drawn to them even if they are not that way them selfs.

Fun fact, the UK has had more Far Right/Neo-Nazi movements than any other country since WW2.
Not a fan of politics in football, especially when it’s a bunch of little Hitlers.

You're right about Robinson, I don't love him but he has a real knack of digging himself into a hole sometimes and wants to fight his way out which doesn't always go so well.

I am from the DFLA and a Gashead of some 40 odd years. It's refreshing to see a response like the original. Posters. We do have issues online with racist comments and the far right on some of our public posts but if you look at the BBC or Sky News Facebook pages for instance you will find far worse comments. The comments on these pages are not monitored like ours and are never removed. The issue is a social media one not a DFLA one. The other organisation in the video FLAF also have massive issues on their Facebook page with people posted pro IRA comments. This was brought to the BBCs attention but they chose not cover it in the short film.
What hasn't been refreshing is the silly little Hitler comments. It is comments like these that make the far right feel comfortable around us. If a Nazi is constantly told the DFLA's a fascist group then the said nazi will think he is welcome among us. We have proved what we are time and again and it ain't nazis. The NF (yes there is still such a thing) thought they would be welcome around us the other week. Let's say it didn't end well for them.
Anyway if anyone has any questions I am more than happy to answer them. UTG
P. S. The 2 DFLA chaps in the video we're actually at our friendly on Saturday and have adapted us as their 2nd team!!

So are you claiming we are nazis?? Who knows? More importantly, does anyone really care? Not until you "come out", and actually state a political intent. In the meantime, the vast majority of us lean back and laugh

When I go up to london, I`m not at all worried that some suicide bomber will choose my railway carriage, to prove how peaceful his religion is. No. I`m far more concerned that some bloke will sit down next to me, and start telling me that he christened his daughter, Treblinka.
