Surprise, surprise, another game where we have created fairly little and haven’t scored again. Another dull season ahead by the looks of it. Ah well , at least we didn’t lose.

Does GC realise that we need creative midfielders 🤔

Bit concerning that we haven't scored yet but then again I'm not surprised we didn't score against Wycombe. They're stubborn opposition and we need reinforcements up front. Thankfully we didn't lose because that could well have been a major sucker punch to our confidence. We need to get some goals/wins on the board very soon because the lack of goals will already be starting to play on their players' minds I'm sure.

We got told last season when cogs took over the footie wont be pretty. But he has done nothing to fix the problem. Both oggogo and ollie clarke are a complete waste of space in midfield, they offer nothing. We need at least one, ideally two creative midfielder player's who can run with the ball and pick out a pass or we face another long hard struggle.

Well it was attritional to say the least. Strikers are the least of our problems. I thought the young Barnsley lad was a handful first half and was impressed with Davies. We badly need width, it seems a formation change would help but do we have the required players? Wycombe was always going to be tough.

Absolutely shocking, glad I didn’t purchase a season ticket. £20 down the f**king drain.
Unless JCH can magically score goals out of nowhere then we’re nailed on L2 already. Abysmal.
Player wise 3 CDM’s at home is a disgrace, Davies looked good as did Victor. Leahy I’ve only seen twice but looks a liability, definitely no better than Kelly.
Don’t recall a shot on target in the second half which is simply unacceptable. Coughlan needs to have a long hard look at the tactics he’s employing if he still wants a job come Christmas.

Didn’t think we were that bad. But we weren’t that great either. Nice to be able to enjoy a game of football again (poor refereeing / cheating aside)
Nobody had a bad game, but nobody had a good one either.
I thought Victor looked a tidy player and think if we can get a few decent midfielders in we will do alright this year.
Our defence seems strong as last year but the players GC has bought in seem to be able to pass better.
Frustrated with the supporters who are keen to write off Hare and Leahy during their first home performance.

I agree, we were the better team and only the width of a post and a good save from Sercs prevented a victory. With the exception of some pressure late in the game I thought Wycombe were poor and may struggle this season. I am concerned, as are most, with the lack of chances created but the team is still gelling and hopefully things will improve. Window doesn’t close till 2nd September which allows time to move some on and bring in some new blood.

Very poor defensively and nothing special going forward.

Somethings to note from today:
Stuff on the big screen was good and entertaining Utilita sponsor the arse out of everything, even Wycombes physio The thatchers still do “your sh** arrrrrrrgh!” “arrgh” “arrgh” really lads? The first diagonal straight from kick off was greeted with “keep it on the deck!” Good early shout. We are still meh

Ollie Clarke was poor , Sercombe non existent but at least Ogogo put his foot in . Picking Nichols is like sticking up two fingers to the paying public! Victor and JCH could be excellent up front -

Please can you explain where there was poor officiating or ‘cheating’? We were terrible, just admit it without having to blame external factors like the ref

Nailed on for L2 already are we? Hm, that's interesting considering: The transfer windows not closed yet Bolton and Bury are both almost certainly going down Wimbledon have lost their first 3 games Southend just lost 3-1 at home to 10 man Blackpool. Not to mention Peterborough and Tranmere both look awful (although Peterborough won't go down). Unless 7 teams are going down this season I can't at all wonder why we're already nailed on for relegation.

Game was over as soon as the team was announced.
Absolutely criminal to be playing Ogogo and Upson at home to a side like Wycombe.
And as for Tom Nichols, today could have been the worst individual display I’ve seen from a rovers player, do fans who keep defending him and calling for him to start want us to get relegated? Because if he keeps playing that’s what will happen

Just a case of same sh**, different season, we’ve needed a creative midfielder since this time last year? But we’ve got no money, so that won’t happen. Brace yer self for another extremely long season 😩
