I’m fully aware it’s 2019 sir as sadly everyone has now become so delicate and there’s also a new trend emerging of being offended by practically anything and also on other people’s behalf ,my post was tongue in cheek , but your reply is pretty much a prime example of society today. Also , you have attached a post about discrimination yet you have suggested I go to AG as they love it down there ? I have friends and family who are season ticket holders and I don’t think they would appreciate your discriminatory remark. |

Name calling is just a matter of perspective. We are called Gasheads because it was considered as an insult by the knuckle draggers south of the river (ooooooooh, naughty me for saying that!!). But rather than be offended by their insult we turned it around and made it our very own nickname...and something we are all proud of. Today's problem is the Media. They keep telling us we should be offended by this or that as though it is some heinous crime but we should all be grown up and ignore things if we don't like them instead of becoming snowflakes. (use that term now before it too becomes an offensive expression!!).
