Just out of interest how many times have you watched deon moore play? Three and impressed every time especially pre season at Kidderminster.Lots of promise I feel. Thanks,i have seen him 3 times. I always feel he is not sharp enough or quick thinking but on the other hand is a strong lad who holds the ball up well and has goals in him. Would be good if coughlan started him v chelsea in the unpopular cup imo.

Supporters want a team who play pretty football and win every week. We don't have the players to do that in this division so are rightly adopting a more pragmatic approach to consolidate our position. You need a reality check random forumer who I don't know. The reality check is that if you fill your midfield with battlers with zero creativity and don't bother with wingers people stay at home and do something else. 'Faithful and true'.. 😂

Seriously need help understanding this. How come they were wasteful, the only shining light for anything remotely offensive, not that there was any fear of much of that under this formation and manager at home. I have a season ticket, the first sign of crap weather I cant see myself getting soaked for that dross. I've only felt like this once before in 45 years as a fan. My seven year old could have scored the open goal that we missed, we created numerous chances and failed to finish them off, which again cost us 2 points, when you are in the ascendancy you have to finish teams off. Just watched the highlights....still didnt see the open goal we missed...

Perhaps I was harsh thought upsons chance was easier on the night, Bonham was flat footed on the other side of the goal booked in for specsavers!

I cant see the point in Victor Adeboyejo being here if he is not going to play. May as well have someone like Deon Moore on the bench. So you were advocating adeboyejo and smith as the front 2?
No I just think getting Adeboyejo was a waste of time considering the options are always going to be JCH + 1 other, especially when we needed strength in other areas. Unless they know JCH will be leaving soon....
I personally don't see any point in loaning players unless they are better than your first XI. Well actually I don't agree with the loan system full stop but that's not going to change so may as well use it effectively.

Two points here. Clubs get players in on loan because they are cheaper , wages- wise than your own signings. secondly, when/if JCH gets an injury/ is suspended then we can call on Adeboyejo as the target man. I presume that GC thinks he's better than Deon Moore at the moment. Moore has a contract so if he works his socks off maybe he'll move up the rankings once Adeboy leaves.

I understand that loan players are cheaper but too many we get in are just used as cover, and imo we should be providing opportunities for our own youngsters and not someone else's.
Exeter are a good example of trusting in their youth players and have reaped the rewards financially.

But posters also moan DC never gave Roberts or McBurnie a chance, I guess we're getting cheap labour as Smith looks head and shoulder above any of our strikers. Exeter may reap financial rewards but they are still stuck in Div 2 and that might end if the Premiership get there way regarding compensation.
