That was reminiscent of some of the home performances of last season perhaps even worse in some ways. Why on earth did it take Coughlan 60 minutes to make his first change and 75 minutes to make his second? Everything was just awful tonight from the defending to the midfield to the attackers, can’t remember us threatening them once. Bolton deservedly won that in the end and they had only scored three all season up until today!
Lots of bad performances but Nichols, Clarke, Kelly and Upson were especially poor tonight, the first 3 of those shouldn’t make it anywhere near the starting 11. Only Adeboyejo showed any commitment or ability, was impressed by his hold up play at times

When we went up to 4th I was amazed so studied the fixtures and tbh I saw this coming. Especially with the mood about the club. feared that even with sercs and jch we were going to take a serious nosedive from here on in!

Worst rovers performance I’ve seen by a long stretch. The Tom Nichols saga has hit worrying times now. He’s actually stealing a living.

Alex Rodman man of the match. That’s gotta be a water take right?
Nichols getting the blame again. He was Dam sh** but most of the team were tonight. The only players for me to have any credit were Abu Ogogo who got substituted(??) and Victor Adeboyejo.
Particular note for Ollie Clarke and Alex Rodman for a 1/10 performance. And Kyle Bennett who I was begging for and unfortunately didn’t disappoint at disappointing us.
Ultimately the poorest performance tonight was Graham Coughlan for failing to get us rethinking our tactics of lumping the ball at Rodman every time we had it. Despite the ginormous Bolton defence confusing basketball for defensive football
Fair play to Bolton and well done for getting their first win in a long time. At least they enjoyed it!

Bolton had 11 players out and an injury crisis and have lost every away game this season . So this puts things into context and we were easy beaten by the worst team in the division thus far. Everyone knows we have an exceptional striker up there with Randell Lambert Penrice Roberts who glosses over our weakness. When he's out we have a squad which is basically a lower end ; relegation destined team. So with J.C.H we could be a top 10 team without him we could be in the relegation zone ( same last season ). Take away his goals in the last 10 months and work out were we would be ? .

Fuming at the performance tonight, it was dreadful, I can't think of anything positive, we have made a team that hadn't won all season look very good.
I also noticed a lot of younger people at the game tonight, probably students, what a poor advertisement for us.
Really annoyed about tonight, makes Saturday a must win now.

Honestly, I expected us to lose tonight - as that’s just liquid Gas - but that performance was as bad as it gets.
Bar Adeboyejo, who came out with some credit, I think every single Rovers player just had their worst game for us.
Some - including the likes of Upson, OC & Nichols - played like tonight was the first time they’d ever seen a football, let alone kicked one.
Abysmal.

Ryan Broom would be the better option over Tom N any day, any game. Has an eye for goal but DC moved him on...and now tears for souvenirs are all you've left me Darryl..UTG

What positives came out of tonight?
Were the sausage rolls OK? Pasties not over cooked? Queues for the urinals sub 5 minute?

Yes, it's f*cking obvious. The £10 I could have spent on iPlayer - I bought three pints instead.

Dyer performance all round. Nichols should never, ever start a game for the club again. It will never work. 2-0 down at home, against the bottom of the league and 3 centre backs remaining on the pitch is also worrying. Devoid of a plan B or personnel worryingly

Worst rovers performance I’ve seen by a long stretch. The Tom Nichols saga has hit worrying times now. He’s actually stealing a living. What’s most worrying for me is people genuinely still think he will turn it around. As I’ve said before we’re lucky to add on as many points as we have while we have JCH. Post January expect a lot more of this form.

Christ, I’m delighted with where we are in the table, but Coughlanball really does suck all the life out of the Mem... Every home game now is a morgue. Said that on more than one occasion and got shouted down by people pointing at results and our league position. To be fair results and league position is the bottom line though. Certainly crap to watch most of the time also.

Looked like a team bereft of ideas, carved us open very easily and Nicho has to hit the target with that chance, need to drop Tom and ollie c, wanted a performance after Saturday worrying times.
