So we are recovering now but for the last week we have been quite unwell and I'm tempted to suggest that it could well have been COVID19. Was a bit rough, I was the least affected but son and wife were poorly. Hopefully coming to the end of it now if it even was that. Whatever it was you had,I hope you and the family are feeling better. I have to report back into the secondary office tomorrow! The guy who was suspected of having the virus has tested negative, so we are being called back in. Seems a bit of a strange decision as once we had been sent home and we've got everything working you would have thought that we should just carry on doing that ! The other crazy thing is that my company are making a fortune during this crisis! Vulture capitalism at its finest

I managed to get a large packet of loo rolls today, happy to share where I can.
I despise profiteering so they will be 1 per person at cost price, plus £25.00 p&p 😎

Today's Top Tips:
If you haven't already got one I'd recommend buying a Bread Making Machine. You can buy the mixes ready made, and usually you just add water to the mix. It has the added bonus of having that beautiful bakery smell in the house. Freshly baked bread has a better smell than any artificial fragrance for the house. I've had one for years and you can make some really good different types of bread in them.
Planning on decorating somewhere in the house this year? Now is a good time to buy the paint/brushes etc before all the shops are closed. If you have to isolate for two weeks, start planning now for things to do. Painting the Living Room while stuck at home for two weeks seems to be a good thing to keep you occupied.
Anyone have any other good tips regarding things to do while isolating?

Per sheet, obviously. In an emergency and within the concept of "Vulture Capitalism" the normal rules of economies of scale are reversed.💊

You know that moment when you're sat on the loo and you run out of bog paper, and you have to do that 'penguin walk' with your trousers round your ankles to get some more? Well, I'm almost at Asda now.

We have used a bread maker for years and agree the taste and smell is lovely. We also make our own soups on occasions. Because we are always likely to be called to hospital we try and keep 1-2 weeks worth of groceries in the cupboards anyway. My wife has visions me doing the garden at the moment which needs some tlc after the winter.

Funnily enough, I was walking home with them, it was a thought that went through my mind and someone else said it to me during the walk.

Is it a test you could do retrospectively and would it be worth doing?

My grass is near enough ready for it's first cut, so after that it will be scarified and new grass seed put down. I've got everything ready in the garage.

Is it a test you could do retrospectively and would it be worth doing? Clinically you would say we had it. All the symptoms. We are currently on day 5 and the wife has done breathing trouble now which is typical. Hopefully we get through that. Son had it first 5 days before us. The thing is the numbers dont work. Even if 100k people in the UK had it, the chance would still be less than 1%. So that's what makes me sceptical. Currently no retrospective test as far as I'm aware. It would be useful if they could confirm at least temporary immunity as I could be used with a greater level of efficiency for direct contact.

Just seen in news the retrospective test may be coming after all. That would be good.

Not really self-isolating but staying in more and doing a lot of gardening. Good way to stay fit, do something you enjoy (if you do!) and get some brownie points!!
