I believe it was 43. Making it a total of 465. Yeah, seen it this morning. Released much later than usual. That's less than I expected to be honest. It was less than Tuesday I think. Unfortunately for me, when I saw this I thought 'great, we're getting through this, it's being managed, lees today, less tomorrow, it'll all be over soon". Then I remember I support Rovers and knowing our luck it'll be full lock down until Christmas.

False hope I’m afraid mate, (I really hope I’m wrong by the way) unfortunately this is gonna spiral over the next few days. I really don’t get the figures coming out of a China, just over 3k dead at the original source? Is it just me or do other people think that these figures have been fudged, Italy & Spain surely bear this out?

They knew what they were dealing with. The haste at which they built temporary hospitals was an example of this. However, they didn't inform the rest of the world. Next time something like this occurs, then the governments of the world have to isolate China. Nothing going in or out. This is the third time in twenty years that a virus has jumped from animal to human in China. Coincidence?

Have you ever stopped and thought about why this virus didn't reach Beijing, or Shanghi, or indeed, most of China?

Have you ever stopped and thought about why this virus didn't reach Beijing, or Shanghi, or indeed, most of China? Why, because they are already immune to it?

Na, they’re not Stella cans. And the decor is far too trendy for my place.

Worst case being come through this and realise you are still a Rovers fan!!!

I see Off Licences have been added to the list of essential retailers. Very wise and pragmatic. If the booze runs out there will be trouble. Walk the dog during the day. A few drinks in the evening. Might just help us get through it. I hope the golf course can be added to the list of places you can go for exercise. Drive there in isolation, no need to book in face to face in the shop, no need to touch flags, rakes have been removed, easy to maintain a good distance from your playing partners. At the moment people seem to be getting their exercise in all the same places. The Bristol to Bath cycle track where I normally run has 3 or 4 times the usual number of people, whilst you are still able to maintain reasonable distance anything to spread the areas where people convene would be a good thing?

Anyone returning from overseas quarantined until safe to return to their homes.

Have you ever stopped and thought about why this virus didn't reach Beijing, or Shanghi, or indeed, most of China? Because they shot everybody who coughed more than twice in a 24 hour period?

I appreciate that was what was released but I do not understand why because I'm telling you there is no way it was that low.

Is the 80% of pay covered by the government too generous?
For some, they could well have more disposable income now than they did before? Pubs are shut, leisure activities have stopped, petrol costs largely disappeared. After bills have been paid and essential food, medicines and health products purchased what is there left to spend money on? Is there now a disincentive for people to return to work when fit, able, safe and authorised to do so?
Should supermarkets be ordered to take non essential and luxury items off their shelves? There are too many people in close contact in supermarkets and people would be in and out quicker if the range of goods was reduced. If a lot of shopping is being funded by the state is it right for things like alcohol and cigarettes to be sold, especially cigarettes when this is an illness that attacks the respiratory system.
