I mean, thats more than fair for the time being. Games aren't cancelled, just postponed for now. Yes I agree it’s fair. I can’t wait for Midland to blame BG for this!
It might be BG's fault. I bet he was praying for the season to end when the outbreak started.

So if the season extends into June will players contracts have ended before then?

Will Marshy keep his crowd prediction pole position or will it have to be scrapped??

The thing I find weird about it, and I'm not in anyway against the closures, but....
Football ground 3 hrs every 14 days Schools 8 hours a day 5 days a week Pubs 16 hours a day 7 days a week Care homes 24 hours a day 7 days a week....

The season is over. The worst of the virus is yet to come.

Pubs 16 hours a days 7 days a week, why are you singling out Baggins hours? Seriously though your list is a fair point.

Would imagine the football one involves entertainment by people and if the players pick up the virus as they seem to be getting then games will be called off anyway

To be honest the smartest decision for me would be to play games behind closed doors at the earliest opportunity, although it’s too early to tell at this stage where we’ll be in a months time.

The EFL and the premier league have made the decision of their own accord. Care homes, hospitals, supermarkets, food distribution centres will stay open for obvious reasons although staff absents could mean they struggle. Its difficult not to feel nervous about how this will play not.

The season is over. Look at Italy now if you want to know how it will be in the UK in a month.

Trouble is players, coaches and managers are getting the virus which can lead to the whole team self-isolating which in turn makes completing the fixtures behind closed doors impossible or unlikely.

Don't be disheartened. Cheltenham is finished so now the racing world will close down and be forced to fall into line along with us common football supporters. Me cynical. Never.

O well just have too spend a bit more quality time with the Mrs on a Saturday afternoon 😵😩 Instead of a large amount of people congregating at an outdoor sports ‘stadium’ they will instead pack out The Mall and Cabot Circus. That will sort out the pesky virus.

We seem to forget it's not just about the fans missing games. Everyone is assuming the matches should just be played. However what if players and their relations have the virus?what if the emergency services are stretched but have to provide a service just stand about at a football match Sometimes other thing are more important.

I can't see that all happening between today and 3pm tomorrow, I can't understand why this weekend's EFL fixtures couldn't have still taken place. Meanwhile Rugby League and National League football fixtures are still all taking place.

But games were getting called off one by one before the decision was made this morning. So surely better to make it a blanket postponement.
