There's talk of the Premier league voiding this season, what a supreme irony for Liverpool after waiting 30 years they would still not be Championship. Not that I care about any of the Premier League clubs, but if that were to happen it would be a complete joke. Voiding the season after more than 75% of the season has been played? Surely not!

Won't happen but would be hilarious if it did and no less than the disproportionate amount of saddos we seem to have in Bristol that "support" (i.e. watch on TV) Liverpool deserved.

Sounds like the premier league will be suspending the league for a few weeks this morning. The EFL have a meeting too and I’d imagine they’d come to the same conclusion. This will no doubt push some clubs over the edge. Maybe we’re not far from the edge. Apparently the. Premier league are sat on a cash pile of £1,500,000,000!!! Hopefully they will provide some support to the EFL

Looks like pompey accrington is going to be called off now. Why they dont make a decision about the fixtures tomorrow now would make more sense rather then dripfeeding postponed games one by one.

The issue will be if games are suspended for a long time there is no room in the football calendar to fit them in,ergo it will be like 2019/2020 never happened!!

So if it suspended for the rest of the season which is a real possibility there will be winners ( those avoiding the drop) and losers (those missing out on promotion). Imagine if we were one of the losers after waiting all these years. However the likes of Bolton must be happy

However the likes of Bolton must be happy Wouldn't it be more fair if they declared all remaining fixtures to be 0-0 draws, and then the season would end effectively with the same positions as we have now?

No chance of a complete cancellation at this stage IMO.

If you were Tranmere fan and fighting the drop or a Sunderland fan and out of the playoffs on goal difference, would you still think that’s fair?

Sunderland were absolute A holes and would be totally deserving of such a cruel twist of fate.

Still got to think if we were in that position and the EFL just cancelled the season, we would all be raging.

Football fans are generally the same across all clubs and we all have our good and bad share. I would be fuming if my club was denied a promotion in these circumstances but more than happy if we avoided the drop because of it !!!

No I certainly wouldn't, but at the same time this issue is far more important than football, and we need to consider making sensible sacrifices. I'd sooner have the season played out as draws than void the season entirely.
