Don't forget Sam comes across as very pro Wael even exchanging jokey tweets with him, I've never met KM and it does seem he comes across as a marmite character with those that have but I don't understand why somebody who's done so much for Rovers is being hung out to dry, particularly when things hardly look rosy on the club's finances front. I agree with you. KM is a marmite man but some of the things being posted on here without foundation - and mainly through hearsay is bordering on being libelous. Absolutely disgraceful - KM a man who may have acted naively (who knows) but is a Gashead through and through unlike a certain other Director picking up a sizeable wedge who has no real affinity to the Club apart from his pay packet. If I was KM I would be looking very closely at some of the postings on here. He absolutely needs to be challenged though on why he asserts that KMs and maybe MTs and any future SCs Director’s assets were at risk by taking a seat on the Board at the FC which is a Ltd Co. Edit. Apologies. You were talking about KM I was talking about JC but point stands they both need to be challenged.

Question for you - What do you actually know as fact?" - Please share.

It was ballsy and sam is obviously trying his best to get the fans back on board with post again. However something about singling out a guy, who in fairness has done a lot for the community trust, doesn't sit right with me. Especially as the Post don't have the full picture in regards to what has gone on. The post does seem very pro Wael... maybe Sam can get an update on the big projects, where is the club with Training ground and Stadium... let me guess me, they are working hard behind the scenes. Sam come across to me as someone who is Rovers fan, trying to do a job reporting on the club, but he is not going to be critical of our owners lack of ambition, progress. Emperors new clothes comes to mind.

Question for you - What do you actually know as fact?" - Please share. I think you will find the examples you quoted are classed as "opinions". Not made as a statement of fact, doing that can be libelous. What do I know as fact? That's rather open ended. But in the context of this little episode re Masters. I was in the room at the first SC EGM when Masters put himself forward to be the SC Director on the main board of BRFC When questioned (by me) he did not deny that, at that point, he had not put a penny into the share scheme, a scheme that enabled the creation of that position, had played no part in formulating and developing the scheme, In fact had come from nowhere. What does that tell you about the character of the man?

If anything, the statement from the supporters club and the incredible inaccuracies that it includes highlight the want to pile as much pressure on to Wael as possible but for me has just made them look even more unfit for purpose...

Question for you - What do you actually know as fact?" - Please share. Things seem to be overheating on here today, and for everyone's sake I suggest a bit of calm. Everyone should reflect on what you are saying about others. And several others have missed a very important fact - despite the fact that KM was appointed to the Board of Bristol Rovers to represent the views of the SC, in fact he was, until he resigned, a Director of Bristol Rovers in his own right, (see Companies House) which does carry a responsibility under Company law. That responsibility is his, not the SC, and the liability is also his, which maybe not as extreme as indicated but with a Company with a massive shareholding, and a huge deficit there are all sorts of restrictions and penalties which can occur to an individual, bearing in mind the responsibility is to the shareholders of the Company.

That probably fits some if not all of those categories.

Well, I mean technically you can go to gaol, which is a bit worse than losing your house, but you would have to break the law for that. If Ken and the SC want to accuse anyone else of something then I suggest they tread carefully

Fanatical 92% of the shareholders are the same ones that made the loans?? Where is the risk of any legal liability?

Thing is tho Roy, there is no personal liability, as KM hasn't offered a personal directors guarantee on any of the internal debt to DS. So the liability is limited. As long as he can prove he has fulfilled his duties as a director he will not be pursued should the club go into administration and neither will anyone else that assumes that role.

Has he fulfilled his duties as a director? Clearly not as he hasn’t been allowed to by the majority shareholder. So the best defence for JCs statement right now, is that he can’t be sure nothing has happened since the last time KM was allowed to a board meeting that wouldn’t put his personal assets at risk.

I'm sure there probably is some truth that KM hasnt been allowed to fulfill his duties. What undermines that is why he has done literally f**k all about it while continuing to enjoy match day hospitality every other week.

If he has behaved like this imo he isn't fit to be a director. If JC has a similar attitude we need to take the SC apart brick by brick and rebuild it because if the people at the top of SC have bad attitudes they could be working against the club we all love and calling themselves a supporters club is something they are not. Put up or shut comes to mind or rather put up or get out. If JC doesn't elaborate on his statement then I would suggest his position is untenable. We need a supporters club that supports Bristol Rovers and if JC thinks the owners aren't working in the club's best interest he should make it public or resign.

Not really keen to contribute to this because Ken Masters means nothing to me (Oh, Vienna)
But could the key letters here be HMRC ?

Good one. Just need JC to clarify what he meant now then and if it’s for that reason why exactly are they so worried to take places on the Board. His statement can’t be left hanging there without further probing as some of his detractors seem to want to do for some strange reason.
