I was thinking of the ones who came over to the London Underground circa 1988. It made big headlines at the time here. Were they the twits with the red berets? Well meaning, but yes they did wear the red berets.

I can't go back, or be bothered to, but I quoted direct action. Danny the Red in Paris, the student protests in London figure headed by Tariq Ali and Baader Meinhoff in Germany. I also said by 1970 we understood what they were all about (BM) and any fantasy we may have had evaporated. I was 18. It's called growing up. I have been honest about it. 1968, for us kids, was a great year. Including btw, the formation of the Bristol Sixth Form Union, and celebratory gig at the Dug Out on Park At, featuring the John Dummer Blues Band. Rammed and the headmistress of the Colston (😱) School for Girls threatend to call the cops for under age entry and drinking. Silly bitch. So you can rant on about the mistakes of a 16 year old if that makes you feel big. Just don't make it up, the honesty I speak is enough, the mistakes on the page. Big Man. So the Headmistress of Colston school was a silly bitch for threatening to call the Police when her underage pupils were in a Sh1thole like the dug out with twats like you filling their heads with your Marxist crap? Id say she was doing nothing less than her duty by protecting her charges and making sure they were safe, and not having their heads filled with revolutionary crap. One law for them another law for us

You obviously were not invited. And you’re obviously bullshi£ing as usual Oldie - this is also my generation remember!! Colston Girl’s School wasn’t even established then, it was a boys only school. Do your homework. it's just past the arches almost opposite the library, easy to miss

As opposed to BLM c*nts setting Cities and Towns on fire, terrorising people, Left, Right & Centre. C'mon Oldie, No need for this propaganda. Armed men in combat uniform with automatic weapons confronting civilians in their cars? All they need is a Swastika on their uniforms...so sad that a once great country has degenerated into this. You actually defending this? Feck me, i dint realise Buddha was such a vicious git

I’m still amazed that they care so much about unarmed black people shot by Police and yet wouldn’t have a clue about the names of black children caught in the crossfire of black on black disputes in cities like Chicago on a regular basis. When are those children going to get justice, especially when the rule of the street says you don’t grass? As for Breonna Taylor I think there should be a law where when black people tell us that a crime has been committed the white person they nominate as being the perpetrator gets sent to the chair, no questions asked. Maybe that will keep them happy. Mad isn't it. Just like with BLM, if the Militia's like NFAC really cared about Black Lives, they wouldn't be so concerned about incidents that are extremely rare, as sad as they may be. Why aren't they walking round the "Housing Projects" where thousands of Blacks are killing each other all over the country, "Armed in combat uniform with automatic weapons" confronting the criminals responsible for all those murders, which are effecting and impacting the Black Community far greater, which they apparently care so much about, instead of the completely false narrative that its down to Racism, Discrimination or Police brutality. Like you said where is the furore, anger and outrage when innocent kids, women and men for that matter are killed in the cross fires of these shootings? They are complete oxymorons and paradox's. I've already mentioned him before, but it's a crying shame that more people don't know about or listen to Walter E. Williams, a great Economist now in his 80's, who is the Distinguished Professor of Economics at George Mason University, who grew up and lived through Jim Crow, where there really was racial discrimination in the Housing Projects of West Philadelphia. You won't here voices like his when it's Black History month, people like him won't be celebrated, you don't see him in the Mainstream because he quashes and obliterates the misinformation, false narratives and victimhood. He covers a lot in this video

Any chance you chaps can stop quoting some figures I've never heard of, using long words with lots of x's and u's in them, referring to books that don't have pop up pictures and such? I was privately educated at huge expense to my Parents and I read this thread and feel thick as sh**!

I suspect they won’t like an open turf war with hardcore criminals so they ponce about in hotbeds of political protest instead. And that goes for the white militias that are turning up at these protests too, they are all as bad as each other and could probably be doing a lot more constructive stuff for society with their time.

. You are seriously watering me off. I said I admired him, but challenged whether MLKs vision had achieved their objectives. Whether being subservient to apartheid was appropriate. Re Rosa Parkes, who clearly did not. Stop it. Well, I`m sorry I`m watering you off. I just see the beliefs and actions of MLK and the senator from Tennessee, very differently to you. I don`t think they were subservient to apartheid. They got off their arses, and they marched and protested until the racist laws were changed. Better that, than the "Direct Action" that you call for, and which we regularly see on our tv screens. That`s not going to lead anywhere, except to a worsening of the whole sorry situation. I hope your grandchildren in N Carolina, hold views more similar to MLK than yours. These are not safe or sensible times to be out on the streets, taking the "Direct Action" that you call for. At the time we all supported MLK, he was inspirational. The problem with Senator's speech was that he made a virtue out of obeying the law in force at that time which stipulated racial segregation. Nobody today would support doing that, I cannot recall even MLK advocating doing that at the time, in fact the movement had been active in supporting Rosa Parke's act of Civil Disobedience when she refused to comply. We all supported that, then, later and now. My kids will have formed their own opinions. All I could do is tell them what happened, the detail they found for themselves. When they were quite young we made a road trip through the south and I took them to Selma, Alabama. The site of the infamous march led by MLK, where the local police, State Troopers et al blocked him and the throng that were marching from entering the town at the bridge. It became a significant incident and rallying call. Anyway if you cross that bridge towards town, there is a tiny museum on the other side, left hand side, with pictures and write ups of that day. It is very peaceful and emotive. We sat on the bank of the river talking about it afterwards. Stuff that informs you... rather than relying on "media" only.

I went to Hengrove Comprehensive, which was almost new at the time..all glass and concrete. But, growing up in Knowle West and despite the best efforts of the liberal faculty, that never quite leaves you😂😂
