Sorry are we just supposed to respond to your posts by saying 'gastafari has spoken, that's the end of that thread'? Are we not allowed to ask you questions without you interpreting that as us giving you a hard time? No, of course not. However if you start making wild assumptions and insinuate things that aren't there, and "putting words in my mouth" it's a bit different isn't it? You missed a bit...... * Don’t let me* put words in your mouth .

You missed a bit...... * Don’t let me* put words in your mouth . Exactly. He was trying to put words in my mouth, So I didn't let him. He was making wild assumptions and insinuations creating a narrative that wasn't there, just because I happened to ask a straightforward question. As I said to Gassy, lets just leave it there.

So BLM founder Patrisse Cullors, who wants to dismantle capitalism, cant wait to buy several million dollar+ homes. Would that be from over $90,000,000 dollars BLM received in donations just last year? This extravagant spending and high end lifestyle doesn't really match with her social justice activism, does it? thegrio.com/2021/04/12/blm-investigation-founder-cullors-real-estate/

I specifically said I didnt want to put words in your mouth and asked you a question. 2. The Milgram experiment was about authority. I was broadly agreeing with your stance on over jealous policing. I think you've overreacted a little to be honest.

This extravagant spending and high end lifestyle doesn't really match with her social justice activism, does it? thegrio.com/2021/04/12/blm-investigation-founder-cullors-real-estate/But onto the actual topic at hand, doesn't look good on her if true - although I doubt it is. The BLM statement is pretty clear, “Patrisse Cullors is the Executive Director of Black Lives Matter Global Network Foundation (BLMGNF). She serves in this role in a volunteer capacity and does not receive a salary or benefits. Patrisse has received a total of $120,000 since the organization’s inception in 2013, for duties such as serving as spokesperson and engaging in political education work. Patrisse did not receive any compensation after 2019,” BLM Global Network said in the statement." “To be abundantly clear, as a registered 501c3, BLMGNF cannot and did not commit any organizational resources toward the purchase of personal property by any employee or volunteer. Any insinuation or assertion to the contrary is categorically false. The statement continues: “Patrisse’s work for Black people over the years has made her and others who align with the fight for Black liberation targets of racist violence. The narratives being spread about Patrisse have been generated by right-wing forces intent on reducing the support and influence of a movement that is larger than any one organization. This right-wing offensive not only puts Patrisse, her child and her loved ones in harm’s way, it also continues a tradition of terror by white supremacists against Black activists. All Black activists know the fear these malicious and serious actions are meant to instill: the fear of being silenced, the trauma of being targeted, the torture of feeling one’s family is exposed to danger just for speaking out against unjust systems. We have seen this tactic of terror time and again, but our movement will not be silenced.”

Don't be so silly Gassy.

So that's all you've picked up on? You've ignored the fact that The Grio is a news source owned by African-Americans, specifically for providing stories that affect and reflect Black America. Yes they may have linked a source to The Daily Mail, one of their contibutors Natasha Alford also used to work for The Guardian too. It provided other sources as well. It doesn't change my opinion that both the Daily Mail and The Guardian are mostly full of garbage. They also have video interviews with Patrice Cullors. I just thought it was a balanced piece.

You fail to answer the question. It's not all I've picked up on, I responded to the post separately in which I gave my opinion. But I guess you've missed it. I haven't ignored any fact, I'm talking about that they quote a source that is complete garbage. So what does that make them? As it happens, I have no opinion either way of theGrio. I'm just saying it's ironic what you're posting. Yet again, you fail to see the irony in it. Don't worry I get it, you're right - I'm wrong etc etc. Anyway, don't worry about it. I'm just pointing out that somethings ironic - and you've made a meal out of it again and will no doubt say I'm arguing something.

I just thought it was a balanced piece, by a news source that is quite balanced. It has a mixed bag of African-American contributors who have worked for CNN and The Guardian(The Left) as well as Fox News(The Right). If you think its Ironic, so be it.

I think it's fair to ask where is the money coming from for Patrisse Cullors lavish lifestyle and high end properties?
Also where is the $90,000,000 BLM received from donations last year going? It seems it isn't going towards the people that BLM are supposed to care about.

She obviously gets paid for her time lol. Do you think BLM is doing a Tommy Robinson?

I’m not sure why this is relevant to the thread ? Maybe she is on the fiddle , wouldn’t be the first and wouldn’t be the last .

There is a stream of racist abuse against her on social media, most quoting fox news bile. One of the racist statements, that gastafari leaves out, is that she "has moved to a white area"... ...As if she is not allowed to live wherever she likes?
