I don't think it makes any sense listening to commentators, particularly people like Hartley -Brewer and the person you quote here Gassy, as the comments are skewed by their own political viewpoints and are not objective. If the Trustees of the Charity had breached employment law the guy in question could seek legal redress. The fact that he has not and (according to Jung) doesn't want to damage the charity but continues to give interviews, speaks for itself. For me the, far from faultless, BLM movement being targeted by the usual suspects on the right. True, but just because someone doesn't take legal action - doesn't always mean it's because the opposing party was correct. If I was this guy, I also wouldn't want to have my name dragged through the mud, media attention (although he seems to be loving that), the cost, time & stressed involved etc. I'm curious as to why a petition of only 450 people was enough to get him sacked though. When I first heard about it, I thought it had gone viral or something. I think this also begs the question whether he's done something before, or was already on his way out? Of course I'm completely guessing here though. Ultimately, unless I see the entire blog post (which may have been deleted as it seems hard to find) then it's hard to comment either way. Makes you wonder why it's been deleted though, if it wasn't that bad at all. In otherwords, no real evidence to doubt the decision of the Trustees. Without that evidence, why are we even debating it? Oh yes, if course. A stick to beat BLM with.

We`ve both been called pathetic now, Mr. Jung. I haven`t been called a prick yet. But I live in hope. OK. You are a prick. How was it for you? The Earth was feverous and did shake..

Perhaps not, but, ( to me ) still a valid point being made. You`ve boasted on this forum of the "25 rip roaring years" you spent in the City. I`d humbly suggest that whatever white privilege there is in this country; you`ve been the recipient of more of it than most. You also never stop complaining about the unfair distribution of wealth/housing/resources etc. Well, now`s your chance to do something about it. Bequeath Oldie Towers to BLM. Make a difference. Even things up, just a little. You could have your name on a blue plaque outside. Just do it! I don't think Oldie has any moral standing to demand social change or even mention income distribution if he sits on his estate whilst watching others struggle at the bottom of the pecking order. You can`t deny that it`s a fair point, Oldie. People are relying on the largesse of others just to to be able to eat, while you listen to Pink Floyd on the all singing all dancing music system, that you told us you treated yourself to. I`m not saying that you`re not perfectly entitled to do it; just that your argument does lose something of it`s moral integrity as a result.

To be fair, Oldie, which commentators don`t do this? You frequently quote from the Guardian. Don`t they have their own political agenda, just as much as the Daily Mail at the other end of the spectrum? Mate, no doubt they have favourites, Some contributors more than others. But on the whole they are bound by libel, IPSO etc. So on any one topic, generally it is possible to read and acquire enough information from a variety of sources to form one's own opinion. I will give you an example if how it works in our favour, with a free press. Yesterday at PMQ's. Without going into the minutiae Starmer states that Track and Trace has failed to follow up on 75% of test results, asks Johnson can he (paraphrase) confirm improvement. Johnson waffles about 100,000 people traced. BBC and C4 fact check. Turns out there is basis for Starmers claim as they were based and quotable directly from an ONS report. Johnson was just waffling. Bullseye you might think. But then the media discloses that the ONS numbers were based on a survey, not detail drilled down to. Therefore a decent bandwidth for error. So who was right? Starmer. But with a huge caveat. For us poor constituents we wouldn't have known that without some objective scrutiny from the media.

Just to help speed things along here, nobody can complain about being stymied by the taxation system, just shove a cheque in the post to HMRC Cardiff, they'll cash it. They'll roll the amount paid as credit over towards next year's tax, when anybody who is concerned about income distribution can just send more again, HMRC won't refund overpayments made in this way. All you do is find an on line PAYE calculator, decide what you want to pay, and hand the dosh over.

They barely mentioned what the blog post actually said, it seemed more concerned with the outrage of him getting sacked. So basically catnip for gammon (I'm not saying the left don't do this too sometimes). Altogether not surprising from a neoconservative news source. Looking at the Mancunian way mission statement it mentions nationalism "make the boys proud of our great nation", so can see why the guy was angry at BLM if he has nationalist leanings.

We can only offer our opinion on the subject with the little evidence we have.

I suspect that he'll be back doing something similar, so maybe the original charity will continue and he'll establish something else, so it's possible that, for the wrong reasons, this could end up with a positive outcome.

Meanwhile, over in America, a black lawyer explains BLM. You sure you want to play this game? I have a fantastic clip of Tucker talking to a black rights activist who eventually has to admit that her recruitment policy is racist and then completely loses her temper and shouts at him saying that it's justified as there are 400 years of oppression to be paid for? Now, back to you giving up your material possessions to disadvantaged groups, to flatten this 'income distribution' that offends you so much. If you won't commit to that then I don't expect you to ever mention the subject again. Yes, I'm serious.

Delighted to grab what he can and, by his own rules contribute to the inequality, but wants everybody else to pay to level the playing field. Even goes as far as to say that he 'doesn't give a f**k'. Can you imagine the backlash, and rightly so if someone from my side used that expression when discussing social inequality. What a nasty piece of work he really is. Of course I have no control over him posting, but he can't be taken seriously any longer.

The truth is, you have not the slightest idea what I have done or not done. What I do or do not do. In the a absence of any coherent argument around the issues of a dysfunctional economy where the income distribution curve is hopelessly skewed, you resort to the argument of a child. Now, run along.

Utter rubbish. If you were going to to as I've suggested you would have told me to wind my neck in as you already have it in hand. You've had your trousers pulled down in public, and got angry about it, again. You want to live a privileged lifestyle that subjugates people and then demand that others pay reparations for it. Run around in circles as much as you like, it's laid out here. BTW, I watched your Cartoon News Network clip, 2 people talking with zero corroborating evidence. Well done, that's lowered the standard of what should be acceptable to demonstrate something on this thread. So if I can find 2 morons ranting about Biden that means he's a wrong 'un. Got it.

Tbf, you said yourself that it was a poor decision to sack the charity CEO, even though you had no evidence on what the blog contained. I haven't read the entire discussion, but surely your entire argument isn't based on: 'If you're against the way income distribution is handled then you might as well give up all your material possessions, if you don't, then clearly you're a hypocrite and your point is invalid'? That's pretty childish, let's be honest. I assume you're not racist, do you protest? I assume you're not sexist, do you protest? I assume you're against slavery, do you donate all your spare money? The list can go on. I can only assume that you've never complained or thought anything wasn't right, in your entire life. That the world is perfect? Oldie has been protesting and standing up for human rights all his life, joining protests and being part of groups I believe. What have you done? Have you walked a mile in his shoes? You've come on here and made a judgement about his entire life, which tbh I think is disgusting. You can agree, disagree and argue with someone - but you're now trying to take the water out of someones life and how they choose to live it. You've gone too far here, Jung.

But a real person involved with the BLM stating her / their perspective. Don't need to agree but it's there for all to listen to. As opposed to links to the Daily Mail and J. Hartley-Brewer whose knowledge of the issues this lady articulates (rightly or wrongly) are, like yours, close to zero.

I don't feel that explaining that is in any way 'going too far', of course, as always, you can disagree, but I thought we were allowed to express personal opinion on here?
