Shows how tight it was in the Championship that Wigan finish 13th and yet were less than 12 points clear than the bottom 3 so get relegated.

Glad Barnsley stay up More bad games vs Charlton coming? Knew Luton would f.... escape! Could be a Welsh or London playoff final? WBA very poor over last few games? Sorry for Wigan; probably one of the best 3 teams in the league on current form? We may have to face them!
Put bets of 3-1 and 1-3 on all these games! So many close results and so many late goals killed this score?
Odds of us winning 3-1 13 times next season?
UTG

UTG Barnsley flukes it thanks to Wigan Charlton were always going to struggle through poor squad investment. Nathan Jones has done a cracking job at Luton. Probably justified not taking the job here when he was offered it.

Bet Forest fans are fuming today. When they drew with Swansea they were 6 points clear, with 2 games left and had a decent goal difference advantage. They still had Barnsley to play as well, who looked down. Going into the final day they were 5 goals better off and playing at home and Swansea were away. Then both games finish 4 1 and they miss out by a goal.

Fans won't be too happy as they will not get the chance to get to playoff final and Wembley. Just kidding. PS Swansea were 50-1 before the game to win playoffs and Cardiff were 6-1. I put a few quid on Cardiff and thought about the 50-1 but did not!!! Both look stronger than the London teams but over 2 legs? Welsh or London final? Millenium if Welsh; Wembley if London? Makes sense? UTG

Just spoke to my mate who’s a Forest fan, he said he feels sick with anger. Don’t blame him at all.
Interestingly I just read Lockyer has a relegation release clause in his contract and is free to leave for free. Not sure he’ll be able to get another Championship club though? Not one that’s regular anyway?

Preston seemed to look at him before he went to Charlton?

Interestingly I just read Lockyer has a relegation release clause in his contract and is free to leave for free. Not sure he’ll be able to get another Championship club though? Not one that’s regular anyway? Tom L and Jason Pearce been a fairly regular pairing for Charlton all season. Saw a lot of Pearce for AFCB, always highly rated but I guess time and age has caught up a bit. Their forum seem to prefer Tom L thinking Pearce is a foul waiting to happen and don’t want Tom to go but the fans rarely have the final say. Many of them angry about Lyle Taylor for refusing to play even when under contract for the 3 June games and refusing to extend his contract into July. Justifiably so I’d have thought. The extra point he may have earned would have kept them up. Despite their problems Charlton will be up there near the top when the season actually starts. They may have some stability with the owners now even if it came too late to enable them to recruit in a window. UTG!

Sheffield Wednesday deducted 12 points next season!
I have to say I’m really surprised they didn’t do it this season..
Now just to heard about Wigan and Derby, although I can’t see Derby getting relegated this season - the main question seems to be around Wigan and whether they’ll win their appeal
