Usual poisonous short sighted morons on here calling for his head and embarrassingly still going on about we were 4th for a couple of weeks last season. He came in to a team of wrongful signings that managed to get some results mainly down to anssi and jch having blinding performances and a lot of luck and shocking football which was never sustainable and garner wants to play football, the sort of attractive football that is sustainable and the sort of football which would bring back the crowds to the mem which was on a big decline even when we were 4TH!!!! He’s brought in with his back room staff our best signings in a very long time on the plan of playing football and his experience of coaching in the premiership etc which previous managers wouldn’t have got over the line.. They need time to gel and if it takes 2 seasons to get play offs and long term gashead like myself or intelligent level headed gashead would bite their hand off. These idiots and it’s always the same ones on here with nothing better to do saying “how long do we give him?” We give him as long as the board gives him. These people are the cancer of modern day football fans. If it’s not instant (with the players he’s brought in) they think the more you say it on social media you have enough power to sack someone!!! It’s embarrassing. We aren’t Sunderland or Ipswich with big pockets and championship facilities and we’re so far off league one mid table for that. We haven’t got loads of money to buy Our way out of this league so we need to have a decent plan going forward which is buy young prospects and in a year of being together coach them to top 6 players. I wasn’t expecting a point from our first two games and we get one at Sunderland (but apparently that’s only because Sunderland we’re so bad according to the usual muppets on here), We lost to Ipswich, move on and get behind the team and see we have prospects playing for us and a manager trying to play the right way. I know these people won’t because that’s how their brains work but why not let the season progress before starting up such negative embarrassing threads such as this. This forum represents a cross section of Rovers fans - but you're arrogant enough to categorise the majority as, "morons", "idiots" & "muppets" ummm? - and BTW the football and more importantly the results are still "shocking". Drawing away at Sunderland is shocking? Actually you are right, I expected us to lose!

The Negatives cant leave it alone-i guess the delusion and head in the sands relates to them-really need to get a life-GARNER IS NOT GOING ANYWHERE-Hopefully the negatives will go away soon when results change Yeah I too hope for the negatives to go away and I also hope results improve. I thought that's what we all want

I've got the darkest red lenses you can get and it's even starting to get me questioning as to whether Garner is the man for the job.

Incidentally, are you paying £10 to watch the Donny game?

You can't honestly say you're impressed with that? In a few days that will be 2 in 25, cannot see us getting anything at Donny. I shall watch the horror show unfold on ifollow as we persist on trying to pass it out from the back. Garner thinks this is a great tactic, but our defence see the ball as a hot potato and trade dangerous passes between themselves, often losing possesion in a dangerous area, add to that our relative clueless midfield and near non existent strikeforce I hold no hope at all, bringing in another untested youngster just makes me want to cry, we need a tough tackling, experienced pro to shore up our lightweight middle, 'Garners Experimental Kindergarten' will make us the whipping boys of L1 in no time at all. Bottom 3 bound.

For me the barometer of a football manager is if the team has improved since they took over, which we haven’t under Garner. Obviously you have to give the manager some time ,( DC wasn’t looking too clever after 6 months). When BG took over we had the opposite of a new manager bounce and it hasn’t got any better. Under coughlin the football wasn’t pretty but we were getting results. Following lockdown Garner has had 6 months to shape the team and has had the budget to bring in his own players. Under Garner the performances are poor and we just can’t win. At the end of the day it is all about winning. Now Garner has his own team he probably needs a bit more time to see if he can Make it work. However if we haven’t seen an improvement by ten games in then he should go.

Results wise i agree Bit more time i agree Ten games... that's probably going to be when the targets will be set for his survival or otherwise. I only hear good things from the board and players about Garners coaching, so I assume his way or 'the project' is still very much supported Your bit about the team having not improved... I'd like to explore in a slightly different way. I feel if we look at (on paper anyway) the arrivals vs departure over Garners reign to date, I am pleased with what he has brought in vs what he has let leave and on that basis i feel the squad has improved, i would of course welcome your thoughts In: Brandon Hanlan (£? und) Zain Westbrooke (£? und) Jonah Ayunga (£? und) Josh Barrett (£? und) James Daly (£? und) Cian Harries (£? und) Jack Baldwin David Tutonda Josh Grant Max Ehmer Sam Nicholson Pablo Martinez Jayden Mitchell-Lawson (Loan) Luke McCormick (Loan) Out: Jonson Clarke-Harris (Approx 1.26m) Rollin Menayese (£? und) Ollie Clarke Harry Hodges Theo Widdrington Tony Craig Sam Matthews Gavin Reilly Liam Sercombe Tom Nichols Tareiq Holmes-Dennis Rhys Kavanagh

So if we were on the lookout for a new manager and appointed garner now with his current stats but with another club. Are you seriously saying the disciples would be saying .like this guy and his philosophy. Let's give him two seasons? You would be laughed out of here and to the funny farm.

Classic case of having nothing to say (apart from cliché), so make the mistake of attack the poster and not the posts. We beat both Sunderland and Ipswich last season, why write them off? Because of the set up from BG ? The post offers nothing in tangible evidence that we are going anywhere but down, but given more time I'm assuming we can get relegation and will be a for saying this is unacceptable.....btw, over 20 matches we are on relegation form. Nice to know fellow GasHeads, maybe whom sometimes sit or stand near you subject you to verbal abuse if you dare question anything. Questions that funnily enough haven't been addressed or answered!

However I think Craig and obviously JCH played a large part in the team and I don’t see replacements. Of the new additions I think Westbrooke and Ayunga look the most promising. For me I would have liked one or two old heads in there to give some leadership on the pitch.
