Hanlan is a handful. I’d have loved to see him and JCH in the same side. Might do when Peterborough buy him January!

Nice first league win of the season. Hopefully the monkey now lifted off our backs. Maybe some news on the stadium front, if Tom Davies comment was anything to go by 👀 Must've been distracted. What did Tom say?

Well deserved win, sighs of relief all round, shooting practise last 10 mins, chances to square goal diff up , pleased for BG and all squad, only slight worry was took a penalty to have lift off( brilliantly taken! by MOM). not perfect but hope it gives every one a lift for tougher battles ahead, Poor Northampton side but they did fight and through bodies on the line to keep score down, Bolger impressive although he gave away pen I follow crap .

Looks like we’ve found a non league gem with Tutonda.

2-0 Gas and the start of a run. I know I shouldn't comment on my own post but I am feeling smug ! And every right to be so!

What did Tom say? He said its a good time to be at the club with everything that’s going on and with a new stadium in the pipeline.

Shouldve been 4 at least really. Game over after the sending off. They were astonishingly bad tho and that must be one of the most in-effective triple substitutions in history! Can only beat whats in front if you and good to see.

Looks like we’ve found a non league gem with Tutonda. He impressed today. Looked so composed on the ball and he's quick as well. He also did well when defending one on ones a few times. Needs to work on his defensive positioning a bit, but definitely a lot of positive signs.

First match I've watched this season. Very impressed with skill levels and composure on the ball. Obviously Hanlan impressed but also thought Harries looked really good.

I thought that was a lot better second half even before the red card. Seemed to come out after the break with confidence, now hopefully they can take that forward. Seen some encouraging signs from a few of the players then especially once they got their confidence up. Hanlon was terrific today along with tutonda but I think Baldwin could come very close to motm there. He was calm, organised and his passing accuracy must be right up there. Hopefully this is a turning point and we can find some confidence to go out and play football

Tutonda and Hanlon my MotM, Nicholson looked useful late on, Jaakola didn't have one save to make. Good to see Hare back in the side.
Not sure what the BG10/BG out mod will do all week now they must be well and truly gutted it was a convincing win!

Way too early to say we’ve turned a corner but plenty of positives today. The keeper and three centre backs keep a clean sheet. The two wingbacks were excellent and BG should be praised for the brave switch in dropping Leahy who has been the best outfield player this season. Westbrooke had a good second half after being a bit wasteful in good positions first half - the step over for Nicholson’s chance was very clever and showed great awareness. Up top Hanlon was a real handful and was unlucky not to get a second.
Hope we use this as a springboard for the upcoming games and that the fans give the new signings a fair crack - Baldwin and Westbrooke already seem to have been picked as season scapegoats by some ‘fans’.

A much better second half and much more pleasing on the eye but if we want to avoid a relegation battle let alone do well we need to be able to get into second gear without having to rely on a penalty to get us ahead and a red card for us to play like we did when they went down to ten men. We should have finished many of the opportunities we had and I’m concerned about our finishing and our responsiveness on the ball when we get on the break.
Right now from what I can see this just papers over the cracks. Pleased we got three points on the board.

Great win considering where confidence levels must have been needed the pen to get us going, but sometimes that's the sort of break that turns a season, let's hope so. Well done BG and the lads let's build on this.

Lots of positives to take out of that second half performance. We were by far the better side and deserved all three points.
Tutonda looks like a real handful in that wingback role and I can see him being a big asset to us going forward. Hanlan had a good game, looked dangerous on the ball and was very unlucky not to get a second which was pleasing to see.
Important not to get carried away by today and I still think there a plenty of things that we can improve upon but that win should act as a massive confidence boost to BG and the team, hopefully we can push on and gain some momentum in what is a really important month with plenty of winnable games coming up.

well deserved three points, at last a bit of belief, if Northampton are what other teams at the bottom are like then i do not fear relegation as much as i did.
