I agree that Tutonda was marked out of the game today which is a credit to him that teams have identified him as a big weapon for us.
A lot more went through Hare today with some of his quality deliveries deserving more.
It would be nice to have that extra threat coming through the middle but it was too early for the new man today.

This quote made me laugh... ''His surname should be Conman. He's the biggest waste of breath ever seen at the Mill''.I did laugh at some of the comments, a win rate of 19% perceived as disgraceful! Well that’s Dam marvellous compared to BG 😁. I’m only joking, in BG I trust. 👍

2 losses in the first 6 games, 8 points on the board. I’m happy with that. A point was fair result today but how unlucky with Nicholson hitting the bar late on and then what looked like a stonewall penalty not given. Still, we move on to Gay Meadow Tuesday night and a chance to get back to winning ways.

Another game watched on ifollow today and I know people have had problems with it but yet again for me it worked great again. As for todays game I thought it would be a tough match against a burton team desperate to kick start their season after a poor start and it was just that. It was a close game and if I'm honest a point was probably a fair result although the goal we have away was very soft considering we had about 5 blue boys around 1 yellow and it goes in off their man. But on the whole we are playing a good style of football and looking at this current crop of player BG has assembled compared to GCs we are now light years ahead of where we were under the previous manager. Although a frustrating result interms of not getting the 3 points today I can't knock the effort from the lads and it's such a delight seeing our forward players defending and chasing high up the pitch. If we keep this level of work rate and performances that we've managed these last 3 games I think we could surprise a few this season. UTG!

Decent point for them and well deserved.

FWIW. Westbrooke is comfortable on the ball but needs to play 10 yards further up consistently, too defensive today. If he needs to go deeper to get possession then he needs to move forward with the ball before releasing. He can ping the ball accurately to Hare to cause any team lots of problems. Hare then crosses but we can’t convert. Hare played well and causes teams problems when he pushes on but Tutonda today was not as good as before. It happens, League 1 players will be inconsistent. Never a threat today but he did alright defensively. Thought Grant had a good game, perhaps his best and was there to clear up. He was a good support to ZW and McCormick but McC seemed to disappear for periods. Not unusual for a young player, he’ll get better. But today wasn’t his best. The back 3 played ok and Akins didn’t get much of a look in where it mattered. They just have to be able to manage balls into the box. Their goal, must have had 10 Rovers players in the 6 yard box yet not one could get a boot on it. Sunday League for that minute. Front two were ok and Daly showed he is the finisher with a great finish, neat feet. You could see for his goal he anticipated what was going to happen just before it did and moved quickly, a split second before. Well done. Somehow I’d like to see Nicholson in the team, he’s very comfortable on the ball and brings a bit of class to the team. And we’ve learnt after Sunderland, Ipswich and today that we need to be better at managing games when we’re not playing well. Points lost near the end of the game on all three games. Senior players which I suppose means Ehmer, Upson need to be BGs lieutenants on the field and see the game out. Fair play to Burton, far better than Northampton and just about deserved a point, though that was due to us dropping off, not their own play. Vassilev was good and the lad who came on, Powell did well. But they looked good in areas that didn’t really hurt us. In the end two teams, fairly equal got a point each.
Now we move on with two winnable matches. Not saying we will win both but we should play to win. Shrewsbury and Accrington, two teams I’d hope to finish above this season. Get decent results and October will have been a good month. Fingers crossed. UTG!

Didn't watch so can't comment massively but sounds like we were naive after going a goal up and hopefully that'll be a good learning curve for Ben and Jack. As GGMI said, we've played four of the current top seven already - if you'd offered us all eight points and 12th place after the first six, with the run of the games we've had, we'd have all taken it.
BG will keep learning, the team will keep progressing and evolving so I'm actually rather positive. Seven points from our next four is achievable so on we go - UTG!

The confidence still isn’t quite there. Pretty even first half that I thought we edged. Great anticipation from Daly and we are in front early in the second half. Now what? We didn’t panic but we didn’t have the confidence to press on either. Captain on the pitch or manager off it should have realised we were dropping deeper an urged us forward again - it’s not a new problem. Once they scored we relaxed and played again. I felt we were unlucky not to have got another goal - Hanlan header - Nicholson header - penalty shout - but not to be. A point is a point. Maybe this one doesn’t feel as good as the one against Sunderland now but come the end of the season they count exactly the same.

I can see why you would like to see him in a more advanced position but his game is all about picking the ball up from deeper positions and creating movement appossed to the number 10 role. Personally I think we are blessed with a talent of creative midfielders and I think it will be hard for BG to keep them all happy.

Yeah my agenda is clearly to make you out worse than you actually are, been working on this for months - finally my time has come. Wasn’t long ago you said, “anyone wanting to keep him isn't a Rovers fan” “Too much inexperience/lack of leadership qualities off and on the pitch.” Suddenly the young side is a positive thing because we won a couple of games? How many threads did you start on getting a new manager? No agenda needed, you create enough threads for all to see that you’re generally negative. I'm not generally negative at all. Opinionated maybe but not negative. I didn't see any signs of progression until that week of games. The Lincoln game in particular we played very well. I never thought we had bad players, I just hadn't been convinced by Garner. We shall see though, things seem to be generally progressing. Don't twist my words again though please. Don't believe I did, just quoted your post...
