This sounds thick but woman on ifollow told me to download App did so but where do you view game ffs I'm lost, went back onto rovers site and eventually worked, clueless I am. Same again for me. Except as I floundered around on EFL ifollow I inadvertently pressed the right button and game appeared. Technology is wonderful. I always go to the Rovers website first, ie. bristolrovers.co.uk, click on iFollow tab, look at Next Match and Subscribe by paying for away games or applying code for home games. Once this is done, I go back to the iFollow tab, click Next Match and the Play screen comes up if less than an hour to go. Then press square on bottom right for full screen when picture comes on. You can can always switch commentary to opposition team's but may need to do above via their website (after you have paid on Rovers site). I think you can keep switching between both commentaries? Away commentary is usually better? UTG

I watched through our website. No issues, crystal clear and didn’t buffer or lag at all. My first time using the streaming service though, and was panicking slightly after purchasing because it was showing that I had subscribed and had access, but I couldn’t immediately see how to actually watch. In the end I went back to the news article from a few days ago, which had a link to the “match day centre” for this evening’s game. From there it was a click and I was away. Not sure why the club can’t link to the match day centre from the subscription page, but then nothing is ever straightforward with Rovers. Me too. I’m no good with this stuff and I thought I was bound to have problems but so far, 7 matches, 7 good views with no problems. I hesitate to offer advice to those who know more than me but I go our website, click on ifollow, click on next match from the drop down, click on watch live. UTG! And so did I Saturday, and Northampton, and it worked fine as you've said. But suddenly tonight - wouldn't work. Didn't take long to download the EFL ifollow app and was fine then. How early do you login for the game on the club site?

Ricketts at it again. Claiming Clarke was two yards onside for his disallowed goal etc etc. The man was the same after last seasons win at Shrewsbury. He was comfortably more than two yards off, anyone with a pair of eyes and an understanding of the offside rule could see that.

Not the case. Always buy the away game on the Rovers site on my mobile earlier in the day and watch all games via the Rovers website on my TV via the laptop. Never downloaded the efl app. How early did you log on? Pal of mine reckons you have to be early logging in or it gets difficult. Ten minutes before kickoff tonight, normally at least half hour before.

Well done to Ben, the Shrews had some rugged citizens in the side and this was the sort of game we would not have won at the beginning of the season

I thought the win was fortunate. But Grant really should have scored before Hanlon got his goal and at 2-0 the rest of the game would have been easier. I liked the way we managed the last quarter of the game as the longer it went on the safer we looked.

They should have won by 4 or 5 according to Ricketts Baffling from Ricketts as usual. Grant and Tutonda should have scored in the first half and Hanlon definitely should have wrapped it up late on, they had 2 for Clarke in the first half and the goal line clearance by Ehmer and was all they did in the second. I'd say a draw would have been pretty fair but I can't say for a second that we didn't deserve our win. As the second half went on they really didn't look like scoring and with the amount of sloppy passes their defenders kept making I thought out of the two teams we were more likely to add a second than them an equaliser. Great gritty performance and first class 'game management' from us there. Onwards and upwards!

Though I have just read online that Rickett’s described their performance as “top class”. As close to the ramblings of a desperate Madman as you will find.

Good appraisal of us and much of what I thought (Grant praise the exception unless Garner and others have seen something I have not).

I haven't read any other comments as I didn't want to be influenced by opinions.
Positives and negatives again, which I guess is normal.
First half I thought we were very poor. Good delivery from Westbrooke and a brave finish from Hanlan but we could easily have gone in at half time 2 or 3-1 down. We just let them attack us and Clarke should have probably had a hat-trick.
Second half much better. Restricted them to one real chance that Ehmer brilliantly cleared off the line and looked a threat when we got the ball forward. You might have expected us to be under the cosh in the last 10-15 minutes but we saw the game out fairly comfortably and could have added to our lead.
Over the course of the 90 a draw would have probably been fair but great to get another 3 points and continue our recent improvement. Still need to be better though if we're going to stay in the top half.

First time I have watched us this season and while there is improvement needed I can see the way BG wants us to play.
I think at the moment and I hate the word but gelling is certainly currently happening within our squad and as time goes on we should see us hopefully controlling games more which should see us start to have more possesion in games.
We looked sloppy at times and good in certain parts of the game and there was an excellent move where one of out players back healed it
Second half I would say was more even and there was a lovely move where there was a back heal I think from Westbooke to Hare who shot was going in but the keeper managed to push it away and there was a few moments in the game where it clicked and we created a chance not by luck but some very good attacking play.
I can see some fans were commenting on Grant and to be honest his first half perfomance wasn’t great but I do get the feeling with him he will get better as you can kinda see he still in the process of being used higher up rather than as a central defender but in the 2nd half he improved massively I think in time he will be an excellent player.
Hanlan I can see why some fans on here are saying reminds them of Jason Roberts, He is a work in progress but even as of now his hold up play is excellent and I think he will be a complete forward who can hold the ball up, Dribble, Press defenders and get goals. His work rate alone is excellent but unlike some strikers who run all day but never score he will get the goals too.
Think we seen tonight that Oztumer once he is fully intergrated into the team will be a crucial player for us who is going to create alot of chances for others with his vision as well as hopefully getting goals for himself.
Yes there is certainly room for improvement but after listening to games on the radio which makes it hard to see the good and bad of play and tactics I could see tonight moments where we showed abit of cutting edge and I do believe that in time we will see a much more complete performance instead of only in bits and bobs in games.
I think tonight was a classic away performance and one thing that the players need massive credit for is that come the last 15 minutes we were pushing them back until their only tactic was passing it around among their defenders until our press came and it was just a long ball forward and they looked knackered where as our players seemed to have more left in their legs and still chasing down everything.

Great gritty performance and first class 'game management' from us there. Onwards and upwards! Shrewsbury played well so it is a typical manager's review. In the reverse situation if we were at home and missed as many chances as they did tonight we would be bemoaning at least 2 points dropped. But I agree our game management was good in the second half - particularly after Nicholson and Oztumer came on to give us a threat that they had to worry about. I reckon they are a similar type of team to us but our front men forced more mistakes from their passing across the defence than they caused us.
The context of 4 games unbeaten does put a different mentality on the team and supporters.

Second half so much better, I thought him & Westbrooke were superb (once Shrews had their purple patch around the hour) I find his performances really difficult to judge. I notice him giving the ball away in more defensive areas than anyone else but I don't notice him winning the ball back or making a killer pass. So am I missing the point of his style/position? Is he an unmemorable but essential part of the team or a passenger that could/should be upgraded? Out of the current first XI he is the one that I can imagine an obvious replacement (either Agogo or Upson) that might improve current performances.

Perfect summary and exactly how I feel about Grant at this moment. Time will tell if he proves to be a solid signing but I'm really unsure if I can put my finger on what he brings to the side.
