How on earth can Hoskin get Oztumer mixed up with Koiki?

We're not getting the results, but I do think that we're playing more as a team in each successive game. I agree, the difference between us and the likes of Hull, Peterborough, Ipswich and Doncaster has been the quality of the attacking options each has, compared to us. We must put this right in January. The difference with us and Peterborough tonight is 2 absolute screamers.

Boro are completely in their comfort zone. They’re sitting back and defending their area and we’re not really testing them.
Different class.

Can’t disagree upfront but we’ve invested heavily in midfield and defence. Why not attack?

How on earth can Hoskin get Oztumer mixed up with Koiki? They are quite alike.

It’s criminal that we have no striker on the bench Nothing to change things We have some good technical players but no out and out striker. Goals are going to be an issue this season.

We essentially play a glorified hoof ball where we’ll play it around the back, run out of options and then Harries will lump it long to one of the attackers.
Posh showing us how to actually get the ball forward quickly with a passing style that is actually nice to watch.

Pass it sideways...pass it back...pass it sideways... pass it back..pass it sideways ...then hoof it because clearly they haven't got onto the 'how to pass it quickly and incisively forwards' lesson yet

All over. Not surprised by the result, Posh are a very good side. However, once again I am disappointed with our lack of cutting edge. We look to play possession but we don't seem to have much intent behind it. What good is possession if it's not used productively?

Work on your corners, 10 and nothing to show

I think it’s clear to see we have no width, no tempo to our play and no one prepared to break the lines in midfield to get us moving forward and onto the front foot. I don’t think we were terrible tonight but our lack of attack will cost us points this season. As we are I see us being a mid table side, not good enough to beat the top teams and to good for the bottom ones. I really would like to see what we can do with a back 4 and get some more attack minded players in the pitch

That was a bit dispiriting. The second goal we stood off and gave him loads of time, terrible. Some poor crossing, especially Hare, but our two strikers are always alone, nobody pushes up around the final third. Won't bother watching again for a while, we are not rubbish, but the team lacks dynamism. Mid table at best.

10 corners but I don’t think we created one chance from them. Think we will continue to do well against the lesser teams but We just don’t have enough about us in the final third to really trouble the better teams
