Their No9 was brilliant, wish we could afford a player of his calibre.

Fair result nothing much in final third for us some of our crossing was Dan Leadbitteresque! No disgrace to lose to them, referee had more touches in final third than us 😂

Whilst I’ve got no doubt Peterborough have got a very good side the same old problems for Garner have been shown again tonight.
No plan B - surely Garner could see that we weren’t threatening them at all he should have mixed it up tried something different , do we really only train with one rigid system all week ?
No tempo- lots of pointless passes but hardly any key passes and that’s because we play such a slow patient game and we give the opposition chance to regroup and get their shape.
No experienced midfield general - we stand off them in midfield and invite pressure on to our defence because we have no decent experienced defensive midfielders at the club. Both of their goals were screamers but why did their players have an eternity to shoot from there ?
Not enough strikers - hanlan and Daley worked hard but nothing was coming off so we sub Daley and bring on a winger up front.
I said this week we’ve got some good players but are lacking in all of the above points and the vast majority of our performances this season have shown it and without addressing these problems we could well find that we’re in a relegation scrap with mid table looking the best possible outcome.
Tonight showed it again.

Work on your corners, 10 and nothing to show If we had got a proven striker in to replace JCH, I would suggest he would have scored a hatful by now based on the number of corners we have had this season. Our build up is so ponderous and we were lucky to not lose by four or five. They are a country mile ahead of us. FA cup exit looming Saturday.

This is the problem when you try to play a passing game against a clearly superior side.

We just lost 2-0 to a team who bought OUR best asset for 1 million- a fee which we’ve never paid even half as much for a player.
No surprise we struggle to live with them in terms of final third domination. Granted JCH may not have been the pick today, but undoubtedly we spent time thinking about how to keep him quiet, which in turn probably gave space to other players to do the damage.
Not to mention they also have Dembele who will be shredding teams all season. Beaten by a better team, but over all not beaten by all that much.
When we get a run against a few of the lesser teams I’m confident we will be sat upper mid table. Probably about right.

Don’t look like much effort from us, too many in the side that don’t mind losing, not a Rovers team of old, no passion or fight or aggression, think it’s going to be a long old season,. Kilgores 1st half display was terrible , no confidence, at all just looking to pass it back or Hoof it

Pass it sideways...pass it back...pass it sideways... pass it back..pass it sideways Which the opposition ample time to organise their defence. Didnt see Boro or Hull play this system which is no surprise

That was as boring as anything I ever saw under Coughlan. From both sides. 2 - 0 flattered Posh. Dull dull dull from all 22 on the field.

All over. Not surprised by the result, Posh are a very good side. However, once again I am disappointed with our lack of cutting edge. We look to play possession but we don't seem to have much intent behind it. What good is possession if it's not used productively? Agreed. There is absolutely no point playing possession football unless it leads to a chance. At the moment we seem to just pass it in the midfield and defence until the inevitable - the opposing team get the ball and score. We then get desperate and start hoofing it up top to no one. Need much improvement in the final third. Start Oztumer, at least he'll attempt to play in the final third.

Two pieces of skill from them otherwise wall to wall yawn fest.

To create chances you either need incredibly skillfull players playing slow tempo or in most teams cases you need to up the tempo. Our tempo in the majority of games under Garner has been slow and in most of our wins we’ve scored from penalties or set plays. We don’t create because we’re too slow in our build up it’s like the players are so obsessed about playing need triangle plays they’ve forgotten they’re there to put the ball in the net.

It was so boring to watch that I’m kinda regretting not watching the Bake off with my girlfriend. You can still get the last half hour! That's the problem with a 7pm kick off, you just can't think s0d it I'm off to bed! Why are we so cr@p at home, we had rubbish football under DC for at a least season, poor football under GC last season, now just aimless football under BG, things were so much better before we installed the new damn pitch!! Apart from Rich who thinks we've got a hope of getting anything against Fleetwood?

The difference tonight was the quality in the final 3rd, in general play we looked every bit as good as them unfortunately you dont get anything for being neat & tidy in possession. Westbrooke & Grant both had good games but we just dont create enough once we get the ball into positions 30 yards from goal, we got Hare into dangerous areas 3 or 4 times in the 2nd half and each time the final ball was lacking. Time maybe to look at giving Oztuhmer a run in the side, we really could do with Ayunga being fit to give us a much needed other option up top. Similar to feelings to the Hull game for me positives to take but also lots to work on particularly from an attacking point of view
