Great result, and hopefully a big confidence boost to the squad.
Slight negatives unfortunately were Daly going off injured, and Westbrooke looking very poor after he came on.

Take this into the Gillingham game on Wednesday please Gas, that’s the important game with where we are in the table.
Nicholson, Oztumer and McCormick had excellent games, caused Darlington all sorts of problems. Truly dominant performance.
Hope we go on and get a big FA Cup draw now, feels like we’re overdue one as the last big draw in this competition for us was all the way back in 2011 at home to Aston Villa.

Reasonably solid performance albeit against lower opposition but how many times have we seen rovers make extremely hard work of it and gone out ! Well done lads , well done Tis , 6 goals and a clean sheet. Hope daly isn’t too badly injured but it didn’t look too good. UTG

Bristol City, at the Mem' third round..... Be nice 😡😡😡😡 I actually hope we don’t get them. Would be such a rubbish fixture to play with no fans in attendance. Plus you can guarantee that some so called fans from both clubs, would still show up around the ground looking for trouble. Wouldn't be great timing with the virus going on. |

To be fair to Westbrook, we went down to 10 men not long after he came on and there weren’t many forward options. McCormick looks like the better player. But we were better than Darlo in every position. Hope Daly is ok. Great to be in the 3rd round.

We got our defensive selection wrong and embarrassed ourselves with the basic errors and obviously it was just about as one sided a game as it's possible to get. Shame we didn't do ourselves justice but well done to your boys for their ruthless approach. Good luck for the rest of the season.
