Like to see how many passes upson has completed successfully. Seems every time he gives a pass unless it’s sideways it isn’t successful Had a great game Saturday don't you think?

1115 this Thursday on Talksport. Do they use a velvet bag, a hat or some other type of container? Thought it is a pizza box, not any old pizza box, but a Papa Johns

Thought that was another good honest interview by Tisdale. What is there not to like. If he carries on like this I might have to take DC of my Valentines Day card list

If he carries on like this I might have to take DC of my Valentines Day card list DC I think will always be my favourite ever Gas manager, I just love him! Tisdale though does speak with similar honesty and clarity. So refreshing! I think GC got a bad rap as he suffered from having a tough act to follow, but BG's interviews were so awful. It's so nice not to have to listen to BS about possession and poor refereeing.

Overall quite disappointed. Walker was probably the best of them, but I don’t think Hargreaves seemed a league above the opposition. Koiki was ok. Westbrooke didn’t run the midfield in the absence of Nicholson and Oz. Josh Hare, I love his crosses, they are the best I’ve seen on any of our players for years. He just doesn’t have much else apart from that currently. Kilgour looked great. We did not look a full league over LO, These players need game time together and i hope, like the others, sharpness will move them on. However, I wasn’t impressed with the performance at all Agree with most of this.
They're in the league below and made 8 changes to their first choice 11 compared to our 4 but still bossed large spells of the game; even after going down to 10 in the 55 minute.
First half we only had 39% possession but at least looked a threat going forward. We actually had 7 goal attempts (3 on target), compared to 4 goal attempts (none on target).
Second half Orient contunued to boss possession despite going down to 10 men and managed 11 goal attempts (4 on target), compared to our 5 goal attempts (none on target).
Other than the result not too many positives. Hanlan was a threat and we missed him when he went off, Koike did pretty well in an attacking role on the left, Kilgour looked more like his old self in defence and Walker was lively without ever looking like getting himself a goal.
Hare and Leahy gave their wide players far too much space. I lost count of how many good crossing positions they had. Baldwin had a few shakey moments.
We never got any real control in midfield. Upson was okay but not as influential as Saturday and apart from a great free kick Westbrooke struggled to make an impact.
Ayunga looked understandably rusty and I was disappointed with Hargreaves and Liddle.
As PT said in his post match inteview, taking Ehmer, Grant, Nicholson and Oztumer out we clearly looked disjoointed and lost our rhythm. There weren't many encouraging patterns of play like we saw on Saturday.
I was impressed that Orient could make 8 changes, go down to 10 men and still play some good football. I'm not convinced that some of our fringle players are good enough. Didn't look it on that showing.
Still, at the end of the day a win is a win and hopefully the players will go into Saturday in good spirits and we'll continue where we left of at Wimbledon with the return of those rested players.

Fair enough it wasn't a masterclass we didn't outclass them as perhaps we should have and we rode our luck a little. I wasn't overly impressed with our play at times I have to admit. Sometimes you have to win ugly, but surely it's nothing to be dissapointed about.

Very surprised at the possession figures at half time as didnt really feel we were anything other than in control of the game. IMO Hare, JVS, Hargreaves, Liddle, are not up to League 1 standard and Walker is not ready yet.Kilgour had his best game of the season so did his chances no harm. Upson and Westbrooke both did reasonably well. Hamlan was quiet but missed when he went off. Leahey is the best of a poor bunch as a defensive left back. Baldwin as usual gave two bloody awful passrs straight to the opposition but overall he was pretty good. The most important thing is we won and move on to the next round.

Two weeks ago we would have all been predicting nothing but a defeat so its nice to pick up another win and hopefully PT has learnt a lot more. We were without our two most creative players so I don't think we can be too critical. Was good to see Ayunga and Little back on the bench. Finally we will have a bit more back up in the forward line and playing a back four, Little can play a big role (if he stays fit) Haven't seen as much from Hargreaves in these games this season. I actually think Mehew played better than him earlier in the season. Walker hadn't done much in these games either, but was much better this time around.
A wins a win and hopefully we can go on a little run now and get ourselves up the table.

I like Little but when he is fit and back in the team I'll give it a month and he will be out injured again.

Not to disappointed with the performance. Thought Orient played well on the night and caused us problems in behind on the flanks. Biggest takeaway for me last night was we did what was crying out to be achieved, that was winning ugly. We didn't play particularly well but we held our shape, ground out a win and showed good mentality to win the game and put another 20K in the bank by winning.

Judging success merely on winning and losing is what created the false impression of Coughlan being some genius, when he was just pretty lucky and had JCH for half a season (as Mansfield found out) We were overrun nearly all game. I am hopefull these players are just getting game time and match fitness. Which I think PT alluded to. It’s a big overlooked thing in football. We should have lost that game IMO. A few key injuries in the first team and I am pretty worried.

Think your being harsh writing players off, didnt you do the same with Kilgour a couple of weeks back. Hare and Hargreaves have both proved in the past they are more than capable in league 1 and Liddle is a young lad who has barely had a chance yet. I'll concede JVS looks a bundle of nerves at the moment but I think your being way too over critical with the others

Yeah, complaining about going to a lower league team, getting an unremarkable win and keeping an unbeaten run going, feels like standard but is luxury compared to the recent past.
