Good of Tis to shadow shade / co-ordinate his hat to the Orient stand.
Winning is all that matters, doesn't matter how you get there or whether you choose to analyse it to the eighth degree.
Under Garner we would have lost that game. We didn't under Tisdale with a changed side.
Just winning by enough is good enough for me.

Is there anywhere we can see the goals online?

Overall quite disappointed. Walker was probably the best of them, but I don’t think Hargreaves seemed a league above the opposition. Koiki was ok. Westbrooke didn’t run the midfield in the absence of Nicholson and Oz. Josh Hare, I love his crosses, they are the best I’ve seen on any of our players for years. He just doesn’t have much else apart from that currently. Kilgour looked great. We did not look a full league over LO, These players need game time together and i hope, like the others, sharpness will move them on. However, I wasn’t impressed with the performance at all We won how are you dissapointed? Fair enough it wasn't a masterclass we didn't outclass them as perhaps we should have and we rode our luck a little. I wasn't overly impressed with our play at times I have to admit. Sometimes you have to win ugly, but surely it's nothing to be dissapointed about.

I honestly think Van Nonstopashot isn't good enough, he flaps a lot, doesn't seem to get off the ground through lack of spring in his legs, always seems to react a couple of seconds too late and the defence does not seem confident with him there. I do wish him well, but he does seem to lack confidence or positivity...hope he proves me wrong. U T G

Just the same as it was silly not to be able to see how poor we were against Darlington. The subsequent league game revealed all.

In real terms we are 13 places above Orient, last night was the first chance their supporters have had to watch them since March and it would have been an interesting night/atmosphere. I'm not really arsed about Rovers this competition, I've said it before and I'll say it again it's just become a tester for B Teams. That said progress equals cash and that's a positive at this time.

Not to disappointed with the performance. Thought Orient played well on the night and caused us problems in behind on the flanks. Biggest takeaway for me last night was we did what was crying out to be achieved, that was winning ugly. We didn't play particularly well but we held our shape, ground out a win and showed good mentality to win the game and put another 20K in the bank by winning. Agree 100%. Despite LO having the possession they did I never worried about not winning. They rarely threatened the goal and Baldwin, Kilgour, Leahy and Upson just in front made sure we were in control even if not in possession. Well done the team and Tis, in the next round after an away match. UTG!

I thought it was interesting that PT mentioned he was looking at some players last night with a view towards making decisions in January - Fully expecting a significant downsizing and hopefully some balanced restored to the squad.
Clock is ticking for some surely ....

Clock is ticking for some surely .... Part of my take on that was kinda... whose contract is up at the season end... do the younger players have what it takes... I wouldn't be surprised to see some contract extensions if he feels they didn't make the grade in his opinion. I also wouldn't be surprised if Sam Nicholson started to get some clubs looking... maybe a bit too early... but he is damn damn good at what he does and clubs might reckonise that potential Certainly gonna be an interesting Jan window

We need to get a contract extension sorted ASAP.

Very surprised at the possession figures at half time as didnt really feel we were anything other than in control of the game. IMO Hare, JVS, Hargreaves, Liddle, are not up to League 1 standard and Walker is not ready yet.Kilgour had his best game of the season so did his chances no harm. Upson and Westbrooke both did reasonably well. Hamlan was quiet but missed when he went off. Leahey is the best of a poor bunch as a defensive left back. Baldwin as usual gave two bloody awful passrs straight to the opposition but overall he was pretty good. The most important thing is we won and move on to the next round. Kilgour has a couple of good games so he’s good enough again where as when he was in bad form he wasn’t ? Hare is in poor form for a few games so isn’t up to league 1 standard all of a sudden ? Players go in and out of form. Hare and Kilgour are good young players for our level.

Bombshell not liked by many I’m sure: Hargreaves isn’t good enough. Never been much impressed.
Hare just has crosses - and amazing ones. Other than that he’s a wooden legged player with no real impact other than to pass and hang back.

I have only watched the extended highlights but I did listen to the whole match on the radio and it sounded to me like Leyton Orient weren't too bad a side. The bits I saw showed they were probably one of the better Div 2 sides and looked as good as quite a few Div 1 sides I've seen. So putting this into perspective I'm quite happy with the result...yes, lots of room for improvement but I genuinely think our players are capable of much more. I also watched PT's post match interview and the more I hear from him the more I like him. No sugar coating, no blaming the officials, the grass, the conditions etc but a good honest report from an obviously intelligent man.

A positive night. Another win will raise squad morale. Some players got an extended run out and that will enable the manager to further assess their abilities and potential. No injuries. JVS will have some confidence restored. More money coming into the club.
All in all very satisfactory I think.
