Being in Tier 4 is irrelevant as far as "elite" sport is concerned?
It does make you wonder why any clubs in Tier 4 are still being allowed to continue to play fixtures & also travel to Tier 2 areas without being tested for COVID.

I thought all league one sides were in a testing bubble, doesn’t sound like that’s the case for Portsmouth reading that statement?
A real shame if the test event is called off, with cases on the rise due to this new strain of COVID and a lockdown in January seemingly on the table, I can’t see us back at the mem until march at the earliest when mass vaccinations start to create some sort of herd immunity.

At this rate they should have “declaration” Thursdays and Sundays...where League One sides confirm they are ready to play on the next Saturday or Tuesday. Then - if both teams are already scheduled to play each other that game goes ahead - If there are two teams whose opponents cannot play and they have already had a game between themselves cancelled then that game is rescheduled for the next game day - if there are two teams prepared to play whose opponents cannot complete the scheduled fixture they can agree to bring forward the fixture between themselves scheduled for later in the season thus freeing up a Tuesday or Saturday which might ease the logistics of fitting in their mounting fixture backlog

I can't recall any testing taking place below the Championship as it's considered to expensive to carry them out on a weekly basis? Ipswich Town have now also reported 6 cases of COVID so the L1 Christmas fixture lists will be a limited ones at this rate. At some point one club will be half a dozen or more fixture behind other clubs.

We could play Charlton that day, their game at Peterborough is off, or is that too difficult for the ELF to arrange.
