Too many players out of form or perhaps not good enough, and a manager who does not seem to inspire the team and selecting a formation that makes us uncomfortable defending and creating few chances?
How on earth does Tisdale take off McCormick and play Baldwin in midfield. Anyone who thought Ogogo was the answer was sadly disappointed if today was anything to go by.
Two from Harries Baldwin, Ehmer and Kilgour need to be dropped and the two played on notice that they have to improve 100%.
Day is a reserve keeper at best from what we have seen so far.
Leahy should be told he is playing for his place.
This was the poorest performance of a poor season. Painful to watch and PT has to accept the blame he clearly has not lifted or inspired many of these players and formation and tactics all wrong.

Well that was shocking. No ideas. No spirit. Sloppy passing. Hard to watch. Lucky it was only 2-0. Time to get a grip PT. No more excuses

Sadly, unless we can bring in 2/3 attacking players we are going down!

We don’t need a change in manager we need more players. The recruitment in the summer was a disaster and this needs to be remedied.
Worry is the problems are so widespread I think the challenge is beyond us in a January window.
Right ideas but terribly executed and the wrong man in charge of selection. This has proven to be incredibly costly.

Sadly I think there is too much that needs to be done with only 1 week to do it in. We are lumbered with a lot of players who arent good enough and nobody else would want

Yes it was sh*te!! Yes we had a crap team! yes we can.t defend!, Yes we need a defensive coach! Yes we need another striker!! But do we need another manager?? Everybody was praising PT after Wimbledon and Plymouth, but as soon as we lost Nicholson, Daly and Oztumer, we haven't had a clue up front. I think most would agree that and if we're not scoring more than the opposition with our defence at the moment, we're in big trouble! Losing those players is a massive blow that many teams would not be able to cope with but PT dosent know what to do. Changing formation to a negative back 5 and playing a wing back that's a CB is never the answer. I would rather we play a set way with 4 at the back have a go at teams and see where it goes. This is all on PT as ge selects the side and today starting AO says to me this is a man who is getting desperate.

I think there are some talented players. But weve gone back to a back 5 that suits no one. If you play a wing backs its usally because you have especially good wing backs. And an intense midfield. You've got to squeeze the oposition with a high press. Win the ball high up. Thats what we did under coughlan. You cannot play a counter attack style with a back 5. 4-4-2 or 4-3-3 for these players. Fooking obvious. You mean the footy that took us to 3rd, and yet no one liked it. Ill be honest- I wasnt even a huge fan. But we knew what we were. We scored goals picking the ball off players high up and hitting Jonno quickly. Then Garner came in and tried to make us a possession based team. But it was over complicated and didnt work. Whilst it didnt work- you could see the intention. Then Tisdale came in. Played two the squads strengths. Put a back 4 in place. And a few players started to shine. I was so positive. Now its a mess. 5 at the back counter attack? Whilst Garner failed. He didnt abandon a successful formula. We have to go back to 4 in defence. Give us a fooking chance.

Against my better judgement I bought a match pass today. No matter what run we're on, a result at the Kassam is as much of a dead cert as we'll get I thought. We've lost 2-0 in a game where there was only one save of note and that was from Hanlan's shot. Against Crewe we got 2 goals but sloppy defending cost us the game. Today, the defending overall wasn't bad (first goal was the result of an individual duel between snake and Hanlan. second goal should have been dealt with better even if it could have been offside - can't rely on a substitute linesman in league one!!) but there was absolutely nothing offered going forward until it was far too late. Hanlan, Ogogo, and Baldwin had good games I thought. There was no midfield throughout so we never threatened their end. As much as I like mccormick, he isn't going to create chances. We desperately desperately desperately need Oztumer and Nicholson back for any sort of interplay going forward. Ogogo and Baldwin two triers but who continually failed when attempting to pass the ball just a few yards to their own team mates, you cant get any momentum if you always give the ball away add in Harries and a couple of others and it becomes depressing to watch. Why do we play the ball out from the keeper to defenders who cannot pass the ball it is simply putting us under pressure every time.

Tin hat on...... We are crying out for a Coughlan type battling defence and setup. We all know the football was dire and had little to no flair. But the way we defended our box was admirable - we are total push overs in both boxes. I think were crying out for it because thats the last success we knew. But this is not a squad to play that way. I felt that was Tisdales attempt today.

For a wing-back Leahy spent more time in the middle, was he lonely as our players only seemm able to play in the middle of the pitch.
Our own groundsman ought to reduce the size of The Mem pitch because playing against us the wide parts of the pitch are only needed for the opposition.
We never heard much about the other candidates in the recruitment process did we? ticked all the right boxes did he well we will see come the end of the season if they were the righht boxes!!

First half was pretty much as bad as I've seen and we've seen some rubbish this season.
Better second half but still not good enough.
I'd write off Tuesday at Peterborough and hopefully have both Nicholson and Oz back for a 6 pointer against Rochdale next week.

Obviously lots of players at fault today for lack of commitment , concentration , movement etc but the overriding thing for me is that Tisdale lost our last two matches before a ball was even kicked.. Horrendous formation with horrendous team selections in both games.
When was the last time we had three managers in one season ? I think it might happen again this one.

My biggest concern is that it felt as if PT had found the correct set up.
I understand that we have injuries but why abandon the setup that was working?
