Against my better judgement I bought a match pass today. No matter what run we're on, a result at the Kassam is as much of a dead cert as we'll get I thought. We've lost 2-0 in a game where there was only one save of note and that was from Hanlan's shot. Against Crewe we got 2 goals but sloppy defending cost us the game. Today, the defending overall wasn't bad (first goal was the result of an individual duel between snake and Hanlan. second goal should have been dealt with better even if it could have been offside - can't rely on a substitute linesman in league one!!) but there was absolutely nothing offered going forward until it was far too late. Hanlan, Ogogo, and Baldwin had good games I thought. There was no midfield throughout so we never threatened their end. As much as I like mccormick, he isn't going to create chances. We desperately desperately desperately need Oztumer and Nicholson back for any sort of interplay going forward. Ogogo and Baldwin two triers but who continually failed when attempting to pass the ball just a few yards to their own team mates, you cant get any momentum if you always give the ball away add in Harries and a couple of others and it becomes depressing to watch. Why do we play the ball out from the keeper to defenders who cannot pass the ball it is simply putting us under pressure every time. I couldn't understand reverting back to the Garner style of playing from the back, why not just hit to Ehmer as surely he'll win most headers against his opposite left back? I fear Tisdale has already lost his way, will itl be 6 defeats on the bounce when we lose again on Tuesday, if so, then that's usually enough to trigger a manager being sacked?

Obviously lots of players at fault today for lack of commitment , concentration , movement etc but the overriding thing for me is that Tisdale lost our last two matches before a ball was even kicked.. Horrendous formation with horrendous team selections in both games. When was the last time we had three managers in one season ? I think it might happen again this one. Totally agree with first part of your post but hopefully not the second 👍

Taylor giving the ref sh**e! Wants to remember what team gave him his chance of a move to the Championship. f**king snake! He was with us for four years and scored every other game, we wouldn’t pay him what he was worth and he agreed to re sign for us only until someone else came in and paid him properly. Three years ago that happened and on days like today we can all see the folly of not paying the market rate for a very good player. We gave him nothing other than an insulting pay offer...time to move on, grow up and understand the reality of where we are today and why.

Time to sack the manager me thinks utter rubbish And bring in who? Coughlin's looking for a job? I sense that's the type of manager will will have to recruit to have any chance of keeping us up. Just a pity Holloway totally ruined his good reputation at Grimsby.

I think Tuesday is going to be an embarrassment. We’re in real poor place at the minute and no light at the end of the tunnel. Perhaps the injured players are happy to be out the team! Who is going to want to join us to help us out of this hole? I really don’t think PT knows what do do and is starting to make some odd decisions. The team is narrow, error strewn and completely devoid of ideas. No one seems to care if we win. This feels as bad as that season we slipped out of the league. Nicholson and Daly’s return, along with Jaakola and Otzumer could just get us out of it but we’re going to have to score more than we concede!

It's weird how just four or five nonsensical repetitive posts has upset you so much. How do you think the forum in general feels about four or five years of your nonsensical repetitive crap? Maybe get some empathy. You said it. Nonsensical. You have clearly continued to stalk me with this utter tripe,in an attempt to wind me up. Once again I suggest that you grow up. I have Grandchildren that act older than you. I'm just trying to let you see what a few nonsensical repetitive posts looks like, in order that you might look at your history of posting the same stuff over and over again, over and over and over for years and years and years, the same stuff over and over again, the same mindless, non-contributions to the forum. And I'm hoping you will acknowledge that and resolve to do better going forward. I certainly wasn't trying to wind you up, though I see that it has. I was just hoping to move a bit of empathy within you, and help you realise that all your years and years of sh** isn't really much of a positive contribution.

Before people get too offended- I dont think PT is the wrong man. But as an supporter I can understand the last three league starting line ups. I don't, I can't see he's a fire fighter which we now need, I sense the players feel that way or they wouldn't be so half hearted.

The worrying thing is, that two of our best players (McCormick and Oztumer) don't even belong to us. Appaling recruitment. True, as it turns out. But I recall the euphoria in the summer when these new recruits came in. Its season after season wtf is wrong at this club

I just can't get my head round the substitutions, 1 nil down and we bring on a wing back and a striker but still manage to make ourselves more defensive than we were before. Although we were poor we've still ultimately lost without our keeper making a serious save. I guess playing with 5 centre backs should make us hard to score against !!! To me Tues is now a free hit, it will be a surprise to no-one if we lose so why not go there and give it a go. Ayunga did ok when he came on and him up front with Hanlan at least made us more of a threat. I'd stick with 3 centre backs play Williams & Leahy wide, leave Westbrooke out and go with a midfield of Barratt, McCormick and either Ogogo or Grant. What do we have to lose

Teams don't like it up em! And my view of tisdale's team selection and choice of players is we prefer to take it rather than give it a go at the opposition. Yes we've had injuries and those mainly are up front but we look so square and slow! The absence of Tutando is really getting on my tits

I would think the wages for four left backs would be roughly equivalent to that of one competent striker.

What we needed when we sacked nice and gentle Garner was a tough no nonsense manager in the Coughlan / Warnock mould but we went with nice and gentle Tisdale.
I’ve got a feeling Wael likes his managers to be of a similar mould character wise as himself.
Most of the best managers in British football history have been tough no nonsense characters, Fergie , clough , Jose etc are not likeable characters but the players don’t have to like their manager they need to respect him and it helps a bit if they’re a bit scared of him too.
I don’t see Tisdale keeping us up and I’m afraid I think we’ll go down if we stick with him and have a better chance of staying up if we went for perhaps Tony Craig as player manager until the end of the season.
To be fair that wouldn’t garauntee staying up but I think we’d have at least a fighting chance.

Another episode of Eastenders takes over the match thread!
Probably a good job we aren’t at the games with some of the toxic stuff on here!
No doubt we are poor and I’ve been saying all season the defence is as bad as I’ve seen in 35 years.
For me Tis needs to pick his best back 4 and go back to 4-4-2
I dread to think how many formations we’ve tried in the last 2 seasons, and here we are now playing 5 at the back with neither Ehmer or Leahy as proper wing backs!
Go back to basics v Posh
Day
Williams Ehmer Kilgour Leahy
Rodman MCCormick Hargreaves Koiki
Hanlan Ayunga
