I make it 10 points from his first 10 games. Not really any worse than a Garner but not better either and certainly not good enough. If we carry on picking up a point a game we’ll go down. Chances are Garner may have improved with time, when he was sacked we were doing OK away from home if not at the Mem. I love the way posters think a new striker is suddenly going to change our fortunes, it's not like he's going to play in defence and also attack. Although it's odd Wael's seemingly cleared £20m of debts and paid out £m's on the training ground but we can't afford a decent striker. Unless we can find a player like Devon White. Bruno was our best defender when the opposition had a set piece. Won far more headers than our central defenders ever did.

Can't blame Wael if no sane player wants to join us We could be "in" for Messi it doesn't mean we have any hope of signing him. It's odd we're apparently in for so many strikers but none want to sign for us, either we're not offering them enough money or they can't stand the thought of playing under PT.

R home form has been shocking 4 the past few seasons they might as well play the remaining fixtures away from home it is time 4 Tisdale 2 take off the kid gloves and started giving these useless players the hairdryer treatment and throw some tea cups

It wasn’t a great game and wasn’t the performance we wanted after our excellent point at Peterborough but some of the comments following the final whistle are laughable..... talk about overreaction... Yes we lost and we are in a sticky situation but we are no way as poor a team as being made out and Rochdale score lots and lots of goals - their Achilles heel has been conceding but when we don’t have an on form forward line - we were always going to struggle to score....
To be fair Leahy scored a cracking goal, Nicholson was unlucky hitting the crossbar, Kilgour was foiled by an outstanding reaction save, Ozzy shot wide when he should have got it on target, Hanlan had one shot saved by the keeper, another wide when he should have hit the target and as a team we had a number of other decent chances....
we dominated 2nd half especially but most of the game without getting the penetration right - too often we keep trying to walk the ball in the net rather than taking an early shot...
Finally those saying Leahy was poor and can’t defend, he was one of if not our best player today - as the Gas Cast and Lord Byron we’re implying in their commentary.
Rochdales goals came from 2 mistakes by us and that’s the main difference at the moment - our mistakes get punished where as the opposition’s doesn’t......
Anyhow, time to not look at Gas Chat until tomorrow or beyond as I’ll only get wound up by some of the overreacting and ‘expert’ comments.....

We were very close but charlton gazumped us last minute. Hardly comparable to trying to sign Messi. You don't half post some sh*t

When it said Tisdale ticked all the boxes I can only assume the questions must have been along the lines of
Have you played football? Have you ever managed a football club? Do you know here Bristol is? We won't pay you to relocate is that ok? Can you start straight away?

Question now is; does Tisdale have it in him to turn it around?
He has to be (obviously) given the rest of the window and a few games but as I did before he was hired, I worry about his experience at this level.

We have a real problem defending from corners, this is where teams work on us. That's Charlton, Oxford, crewe and now Rochdale who have scored! Defending corners should be one of the easiest thing to do! Why don't we have players on the posts? Goalkeeper rooted to his line.

You do realise today wasn't a one off, as Sam Frost said we're sleep walking into relegation, if 1 or 2 of the teams below us start winning games we'll be relegated. Tisdale's not improved the performances at all, which is a concern given how poor a manager BG seemed to be. Unless we pull of a minor miracle and win at either Accy or Fleetwood then that'll be 9 games w/o a win.

What if potential signings are refusing to work under PT, would you still give him the rest of the window?

We are thinking we need a striker which we clearly do as our forwards rarely score but think we need a lot more than that!!! So pleased I couldn't do the 240 mile round journey today.Sad times and still an awful ground.Must be someone out there..... ?Moving to Devon next month after 50 years up here so our Visit to Torquay won't be too far.

I'm not for one moment suggesting we aren't in a relegation fight and yes we're short in some areas but to suggest we are relegated if we dont sign a striker on Monday is ridiculous. 23 games gone, exactly half way through our season and we aren't even in the bottom 4, we also have games in hand on a lot of the sides around us. Am I concerned, you bet I am but I still believe we have enough quality in the squad to keep ourselves above the relegation places. Whether PT can find the right formation and blend of players to keep us up is another matter but regardless of who does or does not come in before the end of the window we wont be relegated with 23 games to go

Ok at the moment only because of one point and the two games in hand. If ppg comes.into play in Feb march what then
