I paid just under £1000 for 3 season tickets to watch that utter crap. The only benefit is that I can sit in the comfort of my own home to suffer, rather than driving into Bristol, struggle to park, walk 10 mins to the ground and sit on a hard plastic seat where,if the wind blows a certain way and it’s raining you get soaked despite being in the main stand, for the best part of 2 hours.
Everything about being a Rovers fan is tin pot and Sh1t. New stadium?
Effing hilarious.

true But what if the season ends abruptly again. Ok at the moment only because of one point and the two games in hand. If ppg comes.into play in Feb march what then That's a fair comment, personally I dont think the season will end early but you're spot on that it's a possibility we have to take into consideration Absolutely no chance the season will end abruptly like last time, IMO.

BBC stats say Rochdale had 2 shots on target. Day should have done way better with both even with the poor defending in front of him. Appreciate they also missed a sitter. We had 17 shots, four on target and we weren’t short of ideas. Hanlon and Nicholson both had good near post chances, Oz and Grant had good chances too. We have some decent quality in the squad and we can get out of this mess. Hanlan needs some help, he looked pretty tired when he came off.
Westbrook is now getting way too much stick. Hate to say it but our keeper was the only one to have a poor game today. And if the keeper has a bad game that generally spells defeat.

So many times one of our 3 Centre backs finds themselves in a crossing position and can’t deliver.
I really think it would be worth trialing Hare again at RWB and maybe put someone else that can cross it at RCB such as Williams if we are going to persist with 5 at the back.

League record under Tis: Pl 12 W 3 D 2 L 7 Not good, that! When you see it in numbers like that you realise how poor we are. These players would let any manager down though. They are not good enough at all. That is the fault of whoever chose the players, be that Garner or head of recruitment. What you can say is that Tisdale has had plenty of time before the window to sound out his targets and a transfer window to change things. A manager lives and dies by recruitment and Tisdale is doing the latter. I feel like this will be his only transfer window at this football club.

Still seething about that performance, don’t usually like slating the players or manager, but it’s like having a team of Carl Reagan’s, if you can cast your mind back, it’s like no effort , no team spirit, no bollocks, and absolutely void of any leadership, I described it earlier as Utter crap, but I think it’s worse than that it’s bloody embarrassing.

It wasn’t a great game and wasn’t the performance we wanted after our excellent point at Peterborough but some of the comments following the final whistle are laughable..... talk about overreaction... Yes we lost and we are in a sticky situation but we are no way as poor a team as being made out and Rochdale score lots and lots of goals - their Achilles heel has been conceding but when we don’t have an on form forward line - we were always going to struggle to score.... To be fair Leahy scored a cracking goal, Nicholson was unlucky hitting the crossbar, Kilgour was foiled by an outstanding reaction save, Ozzy shot wide when he should have got it on target, Hanlan had one shot saved by the keeper, another wide when he should have hit the target and as a team we had a number of other decent chances.... we dominated 2nd half especially but most of the game without getting the penetration right - too often we keep trying to walk the ball in the net rather than taking an early shot... Finally those saying Leahy was poor and can’t defend, he was one of if not our best player today - as the Gas Cast and Lord Byron we’re implying in their commentary. Rochdales goals came from 2 mistakes by us and that’s the main difference at the moment - our mistakes get punished where as the opposition’s doesn’t...... Anyhow, time to not look at Gas Chat until tomorrow or beyond as I’ll only get wound up by some of the overreacting and ‘expert’ comments..... You don’t have to be an expert to realise we are a bad football team. The ‘we weren’t that bad even though we lost’ attitude pretty much defines ‘sleepwalking to relegation’. I’ll wake you up in May when we are down.

Sad but true Oldie. We are one of those teams that benefit from having crowds, and as such have no passion without the crowds. The lack of atmosphere exposes the players who can motivate themselves or not.Ours cannot raise their game and just seem to be going through the motions. The Mem is a demanding place. If the crowd were in at this level it can raise the team but also show their frustration at the lack of passion or fight in them. There is nothing at present that makes these players realise what is required and Tisdale is obviously not motivating them and seemingly confusing with his poor tactics. Aren't you ignoring the fact that since we laid the new pitch our home form as been shocking, it led to DC & BG being sacked and I don't think it was great under GC, our best home performance under him was when he threatened to cancel the players Christmas party, under BG it was TC's 600th game, so nothing at all to do with the fans. Can you imagine the stick Westbrook, Ayunga and Leahy would now be getting if we had crowds at the Mem!So the pitch is to blame and the players are great! Thanks for clearing that up Topper..... Perhaps the players need some stick because nothing is else is motivating them at present. They aren't bloody delicate little flowers, they are supposed to be professional football players. At the moment they are nothing like professional but going through the motions. If you think that's ok then fair play to you. Each to their own....

Shrewsbury signed a player from a championship club, scored 2 today, beat Peterborough 2-0. Is it really that hard to sign an attacker?

Another defeat Tuesday night and surely one of them will have to surface and issue the dreaded vote of confidence.

Even though we've got loads of fullbacks, we don't have any pace out wide either. It really is a mess.

And their manager who loads of gas heads wanted nowhere near our club is directing operations and picking the team from his bed in a covid ward at South mead hospital. I for one wish him and all covid sufferers a speedy recovery and good health. We can only dream of the improvement he has brought to a Shrewsbury team who were well below us when he took over and I believe they have now beaten four of the promotion chasing sides, three away from home. Of course it's not hard to sign a striker, in our case very easy because we don't have any!

And got our near neighbours promoted to the Championship with a record points total if my memory serves me well.
