Biggest ever.mistake in the history the club was to dismantle a team used to winning and replacing them with timid youth players Garner has gone now widdrington must also fall on his sword The silence from Starmes, Widdrington and our Jordanian leader is deafening. Another defeat Tuesday night and surely one of them will have to surface and issue the dreaded vote of confidence. Would you trust them to appoint a capable replacement though?

Shrewsbury signed a player from a championship club, scored 2 today, beat Peterborough 2-0. Is it really that hard to sign an attacker? And their manager who loads of gas heads wanted nowhere near our club is directing operations and picking the team from his bed in a covid ward at South mead hospital. I for one wish him and all covid sufferers a speedy recovery and good health. We can only dream of the improvement he has brought to a Shrewsbury team who were well below us when he took over and I believe they have now beaten four of the promotion chasing sides, three away from home. Of course it's not hard to sign a striker, in our case very easy because we don't have any! For all his faults Cotterill is a winner. He wouldn't be a good fit for the culture of mediocrity we are successfully building here at Rovers.

I can't wait for Mr "Best squad since promotion" to come out and give us his thoughts. He was very quick to blame it all on Garner back in November. I wonder what the excuse is now for why it's not crap recruitment to blame for our current situation?

Tisdale does not seem to have the contacts needed to get players to join us. God knows why he went back to 3 at the back. The goals we are conceding are pathetic. Rank poor goalkeeping and defenders who cannot tackle. We have so few strikers yet Tisdale decides to take one off when we are 1 down. Oz may not have had a good game but what was needed was a more attacking approach to get him on the ball more. When Tisdale was appointed I didnt realise his "style" was to get the ball passed sideways and backwards in our own half so much. None of our centre halves are trustworthy enough to mark a player or lead. Westbrooke is like playing with 10 men as is wasting a player with two taking a corner. What is even worse is looking at the bench and seeing the coaches/management with not a clue or a hint of enthusiasm between them. What do they do in training? We could do worse than sticking Leahy further forward- at least he can strike a ball well but for god sake get him out of the way at the back as he is a total liability. No point sacking Tisdale as the window will be closed on Monday following another pathetic effort-Widdrington do one because you are bloody useless and should have gone when BG went.In Harries,Kilgour and Ehmer we must have thhe worst distributors of a football and ball watchers in the division. Rochdale were terrible and the thought that they beat us makes me cringe and so should it make Tisdale cringe. We need some fire in the camp and most of our players need a few home truths.

Even though we made £1.7 plus on JCH and two cup runs . They allowed the situation to continue . The proof in the pudding will be Monday evening. If we don't then it speaks volumes to the direction of this club..

Widdrington has told us he works three windows ahead, so no doubt we can sit back and await the arrival of a quality striker, midfielder and quality centreback/ captain. My expectation, nobody!

Most clubs in this division at the bottom didn't make 1.3 mil on their top strikers . How much did Rochdale get for Henderson and they still bid 4 times to Southend to get there man !.

When you put it like that he could be pulling off a sequence of events worthy of the illuminati. He's replaced a squad worthy of promotion contention with a squad worthy of league 2, managed by a league 2 manager and we haven't even been relegated yet! He's probably just starting on his plans for our first conference season.

Good to hear and see that PT was angry with that performance as I was f###### furious! He referenced numerous times about standard football aka basics and there lies the problem above all else, we seem incapable of just that. Their first goal, I played a lot of Sunday league and whoever left that guy unmarked at the near post would be nowhere near selection the week after. Equally their second goal, I think it was Leahy who backed off and backed off until their player got in the box where it's then much more risky to put in a challenge and as for the goalkeeper's attempt to stop it - - - Late on a great ball in literally passed Ayunga by, where was the striker instinct or even just common sense to see where the pass would go.I could go on but unless or until we can pass the ball 5 or 10 yards to our own player and not the opposition we are going to be up against it. If we don't sort these basics out and get a decent striker in I am struggling to see how we will get enough points to survive.

Surely it's relevant when other club's are signing players when they didn't sell a player for £1.7m? Plus if we don't sign a striker and finish up being relegated how much will that cost us next season, it's usually £1m but with so many fans not watching live games then how many will return to watch L2 football now they've got out of the habit.

Just watched the highlights on Sky what a embarrassment that first goal was from the corner and the second what was Joe Day doing that was pathetic

That’s an interesting thought. I’m of the opinion fans will be desperate to get back and crowds will increase. I’ll go whatever division we are in, you could argue our gates would be higher in League 2 during a successful campaign than a drab season in League 1?

The question must be if they can get the basics right v Posh why they couldn't today, why aren't they playing for the shirt and the manager every match?

Looks at the L2 table, how many relegated teams are having a successful campaign, we're more likely to struggle in L2 than mount a promotion push, particularly with a team who can't fight there way out of a wet paper bag.

I'm 71 in a couple of months and watched the club since 1957. Having not seen a live game since last February, have been watching all games this season via ifollow. With the way things are going my two hundred mile round trip to the Mem is seriously under threat. So much so that relegation may well call a halt to this St holder attending games. Suddenly a forty mile round trip to the Liberty stadium to watch the quality Championship football or dare I say Premier league on offer is becoming more appealing even though I will always be and remain a life long Gashead. UTG!
