Why have we got such a negative line up as Oxford don't look particularly strong at the back, how long do we have to wait before PT takes the game to them in the second half 15/30/40 minutes?

Why have we got such a negative line up as Oxford don't look particularly strong at the back, how long do we have to wait before PT takes the game to them in the second half 15/30/40 minutes? So many strange decisions: - No wing backs / left backs on the bench but he said a few days ago Leahy was tired and leggy. - Both top scorers on the bench at the same time. - Pushing it forward quickly to Williams to get crosses in but no height in the front 3. Baffling.

You could be right although it could be a generation thing too. My formative years were the 70’’s so the benchmark was playing against the likes of Spurs, Southampton, Wolves, Chelsea, Newcastle et al often in front of crowds in excess of 20,000. I suppose I thought that going to be what was normal. Someone who’s Rovers career began in the last 20 years probably thinks we’re doing ok right now Well I started watching 1967 and though we have competed against good teams we have never competed at the top level or even challenged in the second level in all of that time. We had a few decent seasons in the second tier I feel that having experienced that there’s no good reason why we can’t get back there. This current club feels like a million miles away from the sides of the late 70’s and early to mid 90’s

Still want him to stay until the end of the season ? You couldn’t make it up, could you? Dreadful appointment of an average fourth div manager who proves he’s unable to coach or motivate our club at this level and still so many think somehow it will all work out

If we go down then the board is to blame, especially Starne. He should have been sacked weeks ago And replaced by who? And if we still got relegated we could all blame Tisdale!! Great game this sacking the scapegoat. We didn’t play badly and if Daly took his chances we wouldn’t be having this pantomime talk. Buck stops with the manager I know that but be realistic.

There once was a girl called Jill Who used a stick of dynamite for a thrill They found her vagina In North Carolina And bits of her tits in Brazil There once was a man from China. He wasn’t a very good climber. Slipped on a rock. Lost his cock. Now he’s got a vagina. Stick with Tis. I’m encouraged with tonights performance. He’s dealing with 1st Garners unbalanced mess hence the confusion with team selections, which playing sat, tues for the last few weeks and next few weeks will have not help. Add in the injuries. Not had a full week on the trading ground yet. 2nd (3rd or 4th or 5th as there’s a bit more to the 1st point) he’s for what ever reason (I don’t think we could shift anyone out on loan, again Ben’s signings) not been able to put his stamp on this transfer window. However I am seeing an improvement. We deserved the win more than them. Draw wouldn’t have been fair but would have been fair enough. Daly looks good considering how long he’s been out. He could be the key if him and Hanlan can rekindle a partnership that looked lively before Daly was injured.

I’m not sure we need a replacement. We’ve lost 8 and drawn 2 of the last 10. If the players were left to their own devices they could hardly do worse. Just get someone in to tell there where they need to turn up and organise some transport I’m sure they’d be fine

This squad isn’t good enough for league one football. Neither is the manager. Personally I don’t see what difference it will make whether we sack Tisdale or keep him on. We are down with this bunch of players. It’s like giving a chef a pile of horseshit and expecting a decent meal.

I’ve been willing to stick with him but he’s a one way ticket out of this league. Get him gone ASAP !!!

You could have posted that after we lost 4-1 at home to DOncaster under DC but GC kept us up, given how poor the teams are around us we just need to win a few games, I just can't see us doing it under PT.

We are down with this bunch of players. It’s like giving a chef a pile of horseshit and expecting a decent meal. Relegation or staying up is like choosing between two different recipes for a sh** sandwich. If we stay up it will be because we did the bare minimum which is still not good enough, yet I would put every penny I have on our lazy board giving Tisdale next season and possibly beyond to “see what he can do” in the same way they couldn’t be arsed to let Garner go over the summer even though the writing was clearly on the wall that he was not a competent manager. If we go down there will be pressure on Wael to respond and I can see a wielding of the axe and the potential change we won’t get if we stay up. It reminds me of how we needed to go down to the conference for the club to get the Dam wake up call it needed to snap itself out of the malaise it had fallen into. *sigh* what a mess this club is in.

You may well be right and Tisdale knows Lesgue two well having spent nine years? there with Exeter. Two promotions as well but there is still hope... Bob hope and no hope.

You just can't Judge Tisdale on the sh#t squad he has at his disposal. We are not down yet and still time to save ourselves, changing the manager now is not going to help imo
