He’s made them worse so we can. Garner's legacy(and Widdrington's). Yet somehow this bloke has made them worse. It’s about time he took some ownership of how he has made us even worse than we were 0.8 points per game, 37 points over a season. Not good enough

Going to lay out the case for what I think should happen.
Tisdale sacked, appoint Holloway until the end of the season. This is for a number of reasons:
1. Fantastic manager 2. Connection to the club 3. Although he did poorly with them this season; Holloway took over a relegation-threatened Grimsby last season who were winless in 11 games and he had a massive up-turn in form which saw them finish 15th; it seems a very similar situation to what we're going through now.
Then potentially let Holloway go at the end of the season; appoint Duff or Flynn. Happy days. But we cannot wait for Tisdale to suddenly come good because he won't.

Not good enough Wael showed last season he doesn't care about things like points setting a precedent that this club tolerates, encourages even, losers. No wonder we ended up with a squad full of them.

Tis brings in Gwinnett, his mate (A GK coach) a few weeks later Coles has gone. Then see attached comment which Coles likes on LinkedIn? Quite obvious to me. Honestly, dissecting Social Media posts, and analysing the politics behind 'likes' and 'shares'.. who says what, was there a reaction.. it's embarrassing to humanity. It's practically critiquing someone's conversation and people can read into this kind of stuff far too much. Just think of the grief you can get off your missus for 'liking' the wrong picture on Facebook. That kind of drama should speak volumes about thinking too hard over a linkdin post

The odd performance aside (Accrington, Oxford) the players ARE working for Tisdale. This doesn't look like a manager who's lost the dressing room to me.
That being said, I'm becoming very concerned. Tisdale doesn't look like he can set this group of players up to score goals and we are done for if he can't figure it out soon.
Say what you want about Holloway but I think he could inspire something over the next 20 games that gets us out of this mess.

If Tisdale had come in during the summer and the team were in the same position he would have been sacked by now. Probably before the end of the year to give the new manager the transfer window.
Personally, he was not on my choice of manager but once appointed, of course I backed him. He is a league two manager at best and even then he only just got MK promoted when they probably had the best squad in the league, Most likely the biggest budget too.
I still don't know why the board wanted to appoint him so quickly rather than at least see which managers may have applied.

I still don't know why the board wanted to appoint him so quickly rather than at least see which managers may have applied. I don't know either, but maybe he was in running with BG before his appointment? So the board had already interviewed or were aware of him? PT hasn't lost the dressing room by Oxford match showing. We don't lack enthusiasm of effort. We've created chances, or half chances and not taken them. We're just not good enough in the areas that matter. Simples. I, myself, would sack the captain, but I understand now the players are holding the manager and club to ransom. But what do I know?! Relegation is beckoning and it appears from media everyone is accepting it in a casual manner....

The great lump of space has to go now
At least under BG we could score goals, unlike this so called manager who could not manage his way out of a paper bag
GO NOW

No strikers??!! We had 2 on the bench and an attacking midfielder...two are our top scorers. He picked the team and the squad, take some responsibility! In a relegation battle, which he has dragged us into it’s about the team. Where the bloody hell are Widdrington and starnes as well?

I can recall we went games without a single shot on target let alone a goal under BG. It's nonsense to say we're worse under PT, it's just that we not a lot better.

When he has a PPG ratio of 0.78 and is without a win in 10 games and the club in the relegation zone, I think its obvious that he needs to go.

If he doesn’t the board should come out and support him and tell us what the plan is. PT isn’t a bad man but he is failing and if something doesn’t change is position becomes untenable. Where are Starnes and Widdrington??

This season, with these players in this league we are worse in every department under PT.

This season, with these players in this league we are worse in every department under PT. Genuine question for your Carlts, should we sack Tisdale? I’m not sure. I don’t like managers being sacked unless we know the terms of their appointment and how they are working within their remit. It is likely his remit was to keep us in the league, finish as high as possible and develop younger players (I’m guessing). We have dropped like a stone in the league, our PPG has dropped through the floor, we stopped blooding in young players in the trophy and we had a poor transfer window. I’m struggling to find any positives. As you know I think it was a horrendous idea to sack BG at that particular time and I don’t think PT was the correct appointment. If someone like Holloway is available on a short term contract then yes I would sack him. If it’s Widdrington coming in wearing his cape then no I would stick. Shame Holloway wasn’t available for DofF when BG was here. They’ve worked together before and that is the sort of DofF we needed.

I’m in that weird position of seeing nothing to suggest that Tis will keep us up, but also having no faith in any other manager to get more goals out of this set of strikers. We’re just woefully short upfront.

I know I am a broken record but under Garner we had 1.1 PPG over the first 11 games and 1.38 in his last 8 games including Hull, Peterborough and Fleetwood.
Hanlan had 7 goals in 13 Games in all comps and Daly had 5 in 10 games, both until the end of November.
We averaged 8 shots a game in the league and conceded less than 1 goal / no goals in 6 games.
It’s so painful to see what has happened since then. I get it that people can’t get over the season before and I get people didn’t like his interviews but he never blamed the players or the team, didn’t moan about what he had to work with etc.
If you are comparing manager A with manager B this season forgetting personalities, dress sense, previous performance (both poor in recent history), which one would you have now?
We weren’t in a relegation fight under BG. In the 11 games he played in the league we faced 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 5th and 7th.
