I'd bite your arm off for a draw at the moment, just hope we build on the solid defensive display from Saturday.

I would just man mark him and wind him up. Make constant subtle hissing sounds. And then inject some venom into his bloodstream. I like your way of thinking

Oxford not a bad side and been on a good run but not a team to be feared. This is a game we can win providing we show the right attitude from the start, reckon we can surprise a few and get a very welcome 3 points , 2-1 Rovers, Daly to score.

Need to be in the front foot and push the ball forward early. Nothing wrong with Day going long in the channels and us following up the second ball.

If you don't fear a side which had won 9 consecutive games before losing to Doncaster on Saturday, then which L1 side do you fear this season? Let's just hope Saturday's defeat has knocked their confidence a bit.

Its hard not to fear anyone in this league the way we have been playing, but even though we lost 2-0 they werent all that great at their place and we gifted both goals

I think we all know we are going to get beat easy so can we start all the moaning and Tisdale out posts before the game rather than leave it until later, I'll start, the defence was shocking but not surprised and can't believe we don't have a goal scorer, I give up, truth is I gave up 3 weeks ago.

3-0 Oxford. Think we will be ruthlessly dismantled tonight, and taught a footballing lesson.

We have also bent over for so many teams Widdringtons boys will be searching for future players on grindr

Would be a good plan if the defence marked their striker and not a forward this time

Hint for Tisdale ....
At Corners put a defender on their strikers especially Taylor.
Defend the set pieces well and I think we have a chance tonight - they haven't seen Nicholson or Daly and I fancy both to do well tonight.

Assuming the players turn-up then I think it's going to be a tight game decided by a single goal. Unfortunately, I can see a battling performance but a 1-0 win to Oxford as we struggle to create/take clear chances.

Our problem at home for most of this season is we sit too deep and invite teams on.
Another gutsy performance like we had at fleetwood and defend higher up the pitch and we can get something out of this game.

Need to be in the front foot and push the ball forward early. Nothing wrong with Day going long in the channels and us following up the second ball. Yes there is, we'd lose possession a lot of the time. That's why top clubs choose not to do that.
I don't get the obsession that this forum has with hoofing it aimlessly towards a forward who doesn't win a lot of headers.

You regularly see Ederson, Allison, Pickord and Loris etc sticking the ball in the channels for the right and left sided forwards. You are right no point sticking it down the centre half’s throat but dropping it to the right and left
