Truly hope to be proven wrong but I fear another kicking, but if our lot decide to turn up, we might scrap a draw, but won’t hold my breath.

If we play with the right attitude I think we will beat this lot.

If we play with the right attitude I think we will beat this lot. I second that! Tonight is going to be the start of a six game unbeaten run commencing with an Ehmer 93rd minute 1-0 winner.

People saying Ayunga isn’t ready etc... with the absolute greatest respect, has Hanlan proved that he’s ready? Discounting penalties, 4 goals from 24 starts in the league isn’t where it needs to be. This isn’t an anti Hanlan post by the way, just an observation.

This isn’t an anti Hanlan post by the way, just an observation. Fair point. Gives 100% every game, but has missed chances that you would expect any decent striker to take. I fear our poor strike rate could well prove to be our downfall this season and we all know why this has come about.

Oxford not a bad side and been on a good run but not a team to be feared. This is a game we can win providing we show the right attitude from the start, reckon we can surprise a few and get a very welcome 3 points , 2-1 Rovers, Daly to score. They’ve won 9 of their last 10 and scored as many goals in their last 8 league games as we have all season! I’m certainly fearing them They may have won 9 out of their last 10, but one of those was against Bristol Rovers - and they are absolute...........oh, hang on a minute......

I just looked back at our 5 game unbeaten stretch in October under Garner and our 3 wins out of 4 (Blackpool, AFC, Plymouth) under Tisdale.
The same team played every game in both of those good spells of form. Same players and same formation.
Tweaking and tinkering helps no one!
The one game we lost in the 3 out of 4 Tisdale spell the team and formation changed.
The 3 games Tis has won he played 4-3-1-2
If I was him I would go back to that and stick to it.

We will do well to get a point tonight, in fact I will say we will have to put in our best performance of the season tonight to get three points.

If you don't fear a side which had won 9 consecutive games before losing to Doncaster on Saturday, then which L1 side do you fear this season? Let's just hope Saturday's defeat has knocked their confidence a bit. Rovers or any other team for that matter have no reason to 'fear' any side in this league, every team is there because that's where they deserve to be, some are better than others but 'fear' ? certainly not.!

Same effort, attitude & commitment as Sat could get us another point tonight. However, as a team who has just lost after 9 on the bounce, they will be exposed to the “ not a bus for an hour & now two at once” theory. So I’m going for a Rovers win.

Good team Donny have too, including a 20YO on loan who cost circa £2M from Man City. Nobody available for us though apparently....

I thought we’d have a reaction and beat Fleetwood, arguably it sounded like we had enough chances to do so.
However I worry that this lot have now done the obligatory “turn up” after a horrendous performance and it might be business as usual tonight where they go back to defending like they couldn’t give a monkey’s. Hope I’m wrong but it’s tough to look past a routine Oxford win, if not an easy one.
