We gave them a much better game than at their place, thought the attitude of the players was better and but for poor finishing could have got a result. Good to see Rodman back and playing well, can still skin a fullback. Think we will do the business against Swindon, would like to see a back four and have a real go at them from the off though.
Oops meant to post on match thread.

I thought it was a good interview. We moan about manager-speak, that was a man passionate and frustrated

We can do better than Tisdale. He doesn’t know what this football club is about if that was good enough for him tonight. If anyone has a link to his post match interview please post it here. I didn't want to spend £10 after recent results so didn't watch and only just found out the result, but the question is how did we play? I don't know as I've not read the reports or on here.. If we played well as PT said and just couldn't score than I fail to see what he said wrong as it's the truth. We have 3 young forwards that are struggling to score. He could have acted during the last month tho.

Tisdale said it three times in his interview ... Also saying he thought the teams performance tonight was fabulous. Magician ...? You’re not a football manager you absolutely deluded imposter. This is a sad time to be a Rovers Fan ... Wow! ! Sack the board....surely they knew when they appointed him that a magician was what we needed not a common or garden manager?

The guy needs to stop worrying about his own image and concentrate on the 2 points out of 30 we just collected!
He has made us worse, a lot worse than we were before he came in.
Maybe stop the article writing and consultancy work and concentrate fully on rovers!!’ I expect 100% commitment, 7 days a week focus.
Relegation leads to job losses...normal, working class people lose their jobs from the training ground canteen to the stadium bar staff.
Get your head in the game and graft!

Can you direct me to an article he's written recently? Plus his consultancy firm seems to be "dormant" so stop posting"fake news" BG, it's not helping your own reputation.

Do you want to stick with PT? It's not my choice, so will have to support him whilst he's still in charge, if he does stay then Saturday is really his last chance. I'm not sure any manager can make the strikers BG brought in score, can you?

He is taking the water when he says we were fabulous. But everything else is bang on. Our problem is the summer recruitment. Thank you very much Ben & Tommy Fabulous may be too strong a word to use but we were good and remember this is against Oxford who are top of the form table and have one of the best rounded experienced squads in this league. in terms of summer recruitment, I may be wrong but I can’t recall people complaining about who we were signing at the time? In fact quite the opposite with most people on here lauding that we had a promotion winning squad!?

Nobody can make strikers score but you can have a directive in football and set up a team to play mainly with the same side and system not keep chopping and changing players and systems.

Decent manager!? Grayson is far from decent! Yes he’s had some success but he’s also failed massively at a number of clubs.... he’s also not a manager who develops players - he’s a manager that buys in experienced talent which is not our model

I'm not sure any manager can make the strikers BG brought in score, can you? He actually had 7 goals in 13 games until the end of November. Daly had 5 goals in 10 games until the end of November. So two strikers getting a goal every other game up until the end of November. What changed?

Oops meant to post on match thread. Yes we lost by one less goal. Yes we created more but there is no points for that. The clustered substitutions left us devoid of ideas bar one good movent in the last minute when LMc should have scored. Tisdale has also got this really bad habit of taking off the most influential players at exactly the wrong time. Last night taking off Rodman when he was still in the game was stupid as well as baffling. Knocking long balls to 2 short players is also a stupid gameplan, which is what we did for the last 15 mins of the first half and for 50% of the second half.

Ill tell you who I would swop him with, I would have Olli and Mansell as number 2, the players are not playing for him, but that's just my opinion, you probably won't agree but that is also your opinion

We did play well and there is a lot of overreacting to the fact we lost on here in my opinion. in terms of acting during the window - we tried, we tried really hard and thought we’d done it with Stockley only to get gazumped by Charlton... we had a specific type of striker we were after and there weren’t many out there available that fitted the mould. Stockley, Gnaduillet probably the only 2 and we went for both ....

In fact quite the opposite with most people on here lauding that we had a promotion winning squad!? Thing is, ‘fabulous’ and ‘good’ is ‘relatively good’. We can be relatively good compared to our Accrington performance but that won’t save us from relegation if we can’t stick the ball in the net. We created opportunities but couldn’t do anything with them. And that’s because either the was nobody there to score the goals or the players that were, were not talented enough to stick the ball in the net. Play like that against other sides and a bit more rub of the green and we may get a goal and flake the game. But we will still do well to avoid relegation unless we find a way to score more without compromising our ability to defend. The summer recruitment may have been lauded as good but the players being brought in were conference north superstars and premier league academy cast offs. That excitement was misguided and is a bit irrelevant if they’re unable to get results under two managers. Even if you think one or both of those are Mickey Mouse managers.
