Really needed three points one is not good enough at home, but it would have been better than zilch. They wanted it more than us you could see that by their celebrations. I hope our players are hurting a lot because they deserve to be.

We are there for the taking in most games. I am afraid the writing is on the wall - cannot even beat the bottom Club and that is where we deserve to be. This lazy bunch of soft lads will not play for any Manager and I feel sorry for Barton.

How can Kioki and Kilgour just stand and watch the cross come in without attacking the ball, and why is Day rooted to his line, are they all just too lazy to do the basics or trying to get Barton sacked already, those 3, or at least the first 2, should be made do a few laps of the pitch to wake them up. Kilgour needs a Tony Craig style player next time him giving him orders and telling him what to do. He's tall, strong and athletic enough but his awareness and marking in so poor. Can we bring Davies back? 😪 He's inexperienced. He's a good player. I'd wager a pairing of Cian Harries and Kilgour wasn't the best of ideas tonight unless Baldwin is carrying a knock which means he can't face 90 mins.

Kilgour is terrible. Been more at fault than anybody for goals conceded this season. League 2 defender at best.

Some of the thinking out there tonight was shambolic...
High winds- keep it on the ground - so many crosses went out of play - Nicholson throwing himself to the ground every chance he got- The defence are a an absolute disgrace and have been all season.
Ayunga giving that free kick away with 30 seconds to go was ridiculous...
The only glimmer of hope I now have is that Joey prevents some of these useless lame lot from pulling on the Quarters again.
Only the fans feel this pain... L2 feeling like a formality tonight.
Absolutely devastated.

His development has been destroyed this season playing in alongside clowns.

Honestly thought we were going on to win by getting a late goal.
Wigan were just playing time out, not evrn trying to score.
Bet they can't believe their luck

Thanks Paul.

Tired of seeing the same players making the same mistakes

Another disgraceful performance from our defence. Goalkeeper was dreadful too for the winning goal. Get rid of Kilgour and Harries -they dont know what the word defend means.Wigan were dreadful and we couldnt even take a point off them.Barton has a tough job to keep us up as can't really see many chances of 3 points with our defence. What happens once we've got rid of those two and then realise we've no CB's on the books? I guess there's a reason we've been playing with 3 CB's in the side!

Remember when we lost against Bolton? Back when we could go into football stadia? We beat Ipswich a few weeks later. It's sometimes the way the cookie crumbles. Okay but mate...we were 10th and 3 points off 3rd then

I have to say, Ben Garner has somehow assembled the most pathetic squad I’ve ever seen. agree, this is Garner's squad and its bang average. Lack of quality throughout. The best player is anssi who was already here ffs Bang average? Are you sure? That said we’d have a chance of staying up if Garner hadn’t cleared out all of the blood and guts we had in the team!

These useless defenders have let us down all season. They are not up to the job. I would sooner we play development squad players. At least they will have inexperience as an excuse.

I genuinely think that’s it. I can’t see where a win will come from. There’s no oomph with this team, no blood sweat and tears. Nicholson was just strolling around, without a game changer we just don’t even look like scoring let alone winning. Thoroughly depressed. Nicholson was so weak tonight most of the time a gentle nudge was enough to send him flying and there was no way that any of those times were fouls , he may be injured he may not be but tonight he was pathetic. Hanlan also probably had his worst game in a Rovers shirt and just seems to be getting worse with each game since the mid way point which up to then he’d had a decent season. Add to that two horrendous pieces of defending that a side at the bottom of the conference would have been disappointed with and it just goes to show what a job J.B. has got on his hands. I’m still hopeful , we’re not down yet and the positive to come from tonight is that all of our problems were on show for our new manager to see and learn from. Other than the assist Hanlan offered nothing. He's been ripped a new asshole for that foul, but Jonah Ayunga had an impact in his cameo. I think we works better in a pair though.

I would imagine JB will be giving them the hairdryer treatment now. You wouldn't want your granny to be hearing it.

The most painful thing about that is we didn’t deserve to lose but completely inflicted it upon ourselves by giving away a soft free kick and leaving a man unmarked.
If that was a relegation six pointer, we’ve just given away the six points.
Absolutely gutted with how this season is turning out to be honest.
