I am aware that there are posters on here that do not like my views on the recruitment of Barton. But I will say this. If a manager or anyone in this position has something to say over the employees performance, it would be dealt with behind closed doors and not broadcast in the local rag. This is not the way to motivate, only to destroy. Perhaps that is the motive he has stank the place out |

I agree with this. I believe JB has had a word with this players behind closed doors and its not had an affect on them. Now he's come out with it publicly to get a reaction out of them. |

Does anyone know if there was any bad blood between JB and ME from their time at QPR? In the Post article JB acknowledges that they know each other but it didn’t sound like there was mutual respect and some people can carry a grudge for a long time. I still hate the kid who used to stand on my foot at Judo practice at the YMCA in Kingswood in 1974, aged six. |

I mean if Joey wants/needs to rebuild that defence in the summer then having one less contracted CB will help him in the markets. Can see Max getting a £0 transfer or one of these 'leaves the club by mutual consent' deals. I think if they don't agree a contract with Tom Davies then that looks like a couple of CB's on the shopping list although with Harries and Martinez waiting in the wings we do have some options. Clint Hill said they liked Will Nightingale (AFC Wimbledon age 25) so I wouldn't be surprised to see us look in his direction in the summer. |

No, I am not Clive who called for the return of Holloway. You cannot go back. What certain posters do not seen to take on board is that all of us have a right to state their opinion on a multitude of subjects and to suggest that I should say nothing is not accepted. As an aside, I returned my season ticket because I disagreed with the recruitment of Barton because of his disciplinary record and how this may influence young fans. I sent a respectful letter with the ticket to Martin Starnes. To date, I have received no reply.

Really important game tonight - win and it puts distance between us and them and hopefully builds confidence, lose and confidence will be shot and we’ll be right in the mire trying to pull ourselves out with one hand tied behind our backs and a tough run in....
Despite the exaggerated reaction to Saturdays loss, I didn’t think our overall performance was that bad. In my opinion we started average, missed chances, confidence went, conceded sloppy goals, confidence shot even more, sat deep and then went into the break looking sorry for ourselves. For the 2nd half we came out and for the most part dominated but just couldn’t create or finish solid chances....
if we are to get anything out of tonight I think we need to go for the jugular from the off and attack. Swindon are fragile despite their win Saturday and are not that strong (although they have a couple of decent individuals). If we can stop them building any momentum then we can get that win.
My team will be 3-4-1-2...

Ozzie (harsh on Westbrooke but I think Oz may have that little bit of unpredictability and creativity)

Going for 4-1 gas win - Ayunga x 2, Hanlan, Leahy with Payne scoring for Swindon.
