The only positive of going down is I trust Joey to get rid of the sh**e and rebuild I don’t think he will stay What makes you think that? He strikes me as the sort of guy who wants a challenge.

Said the same on Saturday. These players have absolutely no connection to the fans. It shows every week. They don't give a sh**. In fairness pal, these players haven’t had th chance to build a rapport with our fans, unlike every team since 1883, so let’s not knock them for something that really isn’t their fault. I’m sure deep inside they really wish they had 7-8k backing them which would be such a massive positive for them too. An I mean that respectfully and constructively my friend 👍 You're right it isn't their fault. Just gut wrenching that a lot of these players are going to relegate us without ever having to front up for it. I do think that we potentially would have got more from some games this season if there had been fans in but I'm sure loads of teams think the same.

We all know the reason why some on here are blaming Joey Barton and as far as they are concerned it's nothing to do with the crap squad that was assembled by Widdrington and Garner. No wonder Tisdale admitted he was not a magician when he realised what a useless bunch of players we have. Here's hoping JB stays and no doubt many of them will be on their way because on the evidence of this season 90% of them are not even League two standard. On the contrary, I don't think we've ever had a manager who has put together such a string of crap results and virtually escaped all criticism.

There is no bias, that's just something people say when clutching at straws for why we keep losing. We keep losing because we are sh**e. No other reason. Show me a game this season when we won it because of the referee and I'll believe you We haven't won enough games for that to be possible!

It is looking more than likely that we will not win another point this season. We are unbelievably weak as a team and the more subs Barton makes the weaker we become in many of the games since he became Manager. We get knocked off course so easily as a team and are there for the taking in the final 9 games. I have never seen a Rovers team give up so much and so often in over 60 tears.

Just gutted, haven’t felt this low about the club since we fell out the league. It’s been downhill ever since Coughlan left, competent senior pros replaced by Naieve, less interested counterparts. No goals in the squad and plenty of mistakes, the worst league one side we’ve put together in the last 20 years without a shadow of a doubt. Huge clear out needed in the summer as I think this lot would struggle in league two, Good luck clearing this out. salarysport.com/football/sky-bet-league-one/bristol-rovers/Some of the figures here are nothing short of a disgrace. How is Wael ever signing these off No way those figures are correct. Ben Liddle on more than Luke Leahy 🤔😂

Obscene amount of money for the vast majority of those. Some of the top few I expect were only paying partially if at all though. in modern times I think we must have a reputation as a relatively well paying club at this level. Was it Jeff Hughes who made a comment about us being big spenders, or am i making that up (?). Always take these things with a pinch of salt but terrifying if Westbrooke, Ehmer and Little are on over £150k pa. Got to question if paying players like harries and Barrett over £2k a week was seen as a good idea, let alone Liddle on £75k+ a year for an hour against Darlington and 60 mins in a league game (that cannot be right!). Let's hope we have clauses in the contracts for wage drops upon relegation a la football manager games.

The goal was offside because Ayunga was in an offside position and the shot touched him as it went in Ayunga was onside, Hanlan was the player offside.

and if certain players can't or won't play for the side, there's not much he can do about that at this late stage. I think we're down. But that's what a new manager should be able to do, inspire the players or find new ways to motivate them. I'm sure none of them really want to be relegated. I think we're down too.

I do think Barton has tried to improve things and at times the football has been more attractive, but results haven't come through. Unfortunately we now seem to be in a slump as others around us are starting to pick up points, as always happens around this time of the season. Don't understand Barton's substitutions, but we don't know where he has the biggest issues and which players he has the biggest issues with. He's already said, in effect, that the rot had set in to the club, and if certain players can't or won't play for the side, there's not much he can do about that at this late stage. I think we're down. We had control of that game in midfield in the first half but we lacked a cutting edge. I kind of understand taking off Upson as the ref seemed to have taken a dislike to him, but Daly did not make sense at all? But when he took off Grant the game was over, no control, too lightweight and every other team out-thinks our weak team as we fall for every trick in the book. As for the two strikers even if they are still trying now and Swindon have gone home we won't score!

The goal was offside because Ayunga was in an offside position and the shot touched him as it went in I've played it back on ifollow and he was well onside. It was easy to tell because they were so close to the 18 yard line.

Grant's just back from injury so he was probably taken off as a precaution, let's be honest as soon as Swindon scored it was game over anyway.

Can’t have those figures.
Gillingham were crying about how we could afford to pay Ehmer what we do, yet they have 5/6 over his alleged wages on their site.

Ive been Rovers since 1966 and agree with what you say. Rovers always try and never give up unlike this lot, you cant really call them a team can you. Utter crap and no thought about the supporters nothing like the old days.
