I’ve started planning my away trips for next season Going to be some long drives North, but that’s ok. Be lovely to get in the car again and go explore, nice cultural trip to Harrogate, curry in Bradford and a visit to the lakes via Carlisle Hope to get Torquay and that Exeter stay down. Always liked visiting there. Why do you think fans will be allowed to attend away games next season? Very unlikely away fans will be allowed for at least 2-3 years.

The goal we conceded today is what we have seen all season. Sad thing is that he has nothing to do with tactics or formation but its down to a player not doing his job of basic defending. I think there was a brief spell when Tisdale came in and we looked more secure from set pieces but then it just faded away. This is where I will give the managers we have had all season a break as a defender should know his job of picking up his man from corners. They will be times when a defender will lose his man but nearly every game we have seen there has been a moment where you think “they should have scored there” or they actually score from a free header of tap in. Even with Westbrooke and some of his balls from free-kicks, he does produce a decent delivery but there are too many times the ball doesnt’t clear the first man and while we can all blame BG, PT and JB when we lose there are too many times when the player doesn’t produce the goods at the moment when it matters and that is down to the player not concentrating properly and that applies to our strikers too who just don’t take the chances when it matters and that is why we are where we are this season. Fans will say but surely the manager needs to change the player but it seems every player we have has had at a few moments where they have switched off and even LL who has been our most consistent player IMO had done it a few times. Also I think BG said at the start of season we wanted to play a high pressing game but nearly every game I have seen us play this season we look the better team in the first half but second half we seem to struggle, This is where I agree with fans who said maybe he was so obsessed with how he wanted us to play we did too much ball work and not enough on fitness and now we are starting to see with the injuries we are getting and the players dropping off after half time that could very well be the case. Also as Frosty has said tonight and what every fan has said on here, We miss TC not just for his defensive ability but the way he would organise players on the pitch. Won’t go into Ehmer but Leahy has done a much better job but he and nobody at the club compares to TC. If I were the owner of BRFC I would immediately withdraw the Quarters from these Players for the rest of the season to send them the message that they are surrendering our hard earned place in Div1 with little fight or passion. Yellow shirts with a white feather emblazoned front and back would be more appropriate. Yes it would be tough on the two debutants but this shambles should not be tolerated. Surely Wael you have something to say to the Supporters of this Club about the situation.

We just don't take our chances. Not even close, frontline is useless and with a back line that continues to make mistakes like again this afternoon, it's hard to see where any points are coming from. Dammit!!!!!! Been like it all season we keep hoping it will suddenly change but the transfer window was our best hope and with that gone and the problems not sorted were a relegation side in waiting.

Today was a meh match for me as are the rest of the matches this season. I have resigned myself to the fact we are going to be relegated. I did not watch the match or keep tabs until the last few minutes. I didn't really care that we lost again as we are obviously not good enough to stay up and it is really not worth the angst and ruining the evening anymore. Roll on next season in League 2. If I were to say that Rovers were the much better team and once again it was a defensive error that cost us would you believe me? And we are good enough to stay up if only the individual mistakes were cut out as the football really is good to watch. IMO. Although time is running out. And the two youngsters looked very good on the ball.

Surely Wael you have something to say to the Supporters of this Club about the situation. Trouble is the players would be shocked if they were told that they would have to train on the downs but then as long as they knew the wages were in their bank account at the end of the week they wouldn’t be too worried. I am not saying that the players are happy with the position we are in and don’t care but there are some players who seem to don’t wanna put their bodies on the line for the club and this doesn’t mean to say that they don’t care but we signed too many of these types of players who are seen as ball playing players and we got rid of all of the getting stuck in do the dirty work type of work players and the only player we have who is close to that injured and nearly left and that was only cos PT brought him back is ogogo. I’m all for techinical players but you need 3 or 4 who will win the ball back and will not pull out of a 50/50 challenge. Who in our squad let alone team would you say comes under that?? Grant to be fair did put his body on the line today with a block and he is seen as the ball winning midfielder we have but lets be honest to me he is more of the type of holding midfielder instead of the type who will run around and close people down like Ollie was for us. I get angry when I seen Westbrooke pulling out of tackles and not getting stuck in but at the end of the day we know when we signed him he was never that type of player so to be fair to him I can’t blame him for that but then there are moments where no matter what type of player you are you still have to be prepared to get hurt but we have too many who don’t want to take that risk.

Most certainly we need a statement very soon on the direction of the club from WAEl. We need to know what is the intentions of him. I am sorry to say spending 100k on two strikers for a 1.2 mil Starman isn't very progressive Having a detached leader who isn't around allows infighting and conflict. We really need direction now and honest truth even if it hurts !.

I don't mind so much him calling out Garner and Tisdale but he's done that now. He has had a point with some refereeing decisions but he's being almost Garner esque right now in his criticism of officials. I'm not sure where he's getting it from. One in ten games you could understand but calling out Trevor Kettle's weight and today for example take the Michael.

Not a “stonewall penalty” in a million years. Would have been a ridiculous decision if it’d been given.
Think Joey will be waiting a long time for his apology.

Even Tisdale I don't recall him blaming the ref at all? Garner and now Barton spend most of their post match pressers moaning about the referees. It really gets on my nerves when managers do that. Once in a while questioning a poor decision is fine, but do it too often and it just doesn't wash anymore. Still, at least he acknowledged that the goal against wasn't good enough, and I liked his comments about Zain Walker and Pablo Martinez.

Well one positive is that we finally have a week off. Since Joeys come in, we've been back to back and this week should hopefully finally give him some time to work deeper with the players.

Thing is he doesn’t need to go around blaming everyone and everything, we all know what the deficiencies are within the squad/club - we understand it’s not his fault the dross he has inherited and would respect him more if he stuck to comments that weren’t ludicrous like a conspiracy theory amongst referees! If you are silly enough to read this site Joey, my advice would be to keep your cool, stop blaming everyone and concentrate on the things you can affect, like today, being brave and trying new young players. We will respect you more if you stop acting like a spoilt brat throwing his toys out the pram.

We are down I’m afraid, relegated without so much as a wimper.
I only hope that the clowns in the boardroom have got it right with Barton, but I’m afraid they’re taking the p1ss out of WAQ, who I believe is a genuine football man who desperately wants the club to succeed.
When we’re relegated I hope Barton is able to persuade our better players to stay and can clear out the dross we’ve accumulated and replace them with some skilled battlers who can give the team a spine and some desire to facilitate a quick return. If our good players decide it’s not for them then we’re *** for a couple of seasons while we build from the start.
Here’s hoping. Looking forward to aways at Grimsby, Scunthorpe and Morecombe. Oh goody!

My worry is clearing out this god awful squad, most are under contract for at least another year.
