Nice to know the ref has cost us again and there May be a conspiracy Call Mike Jones! JB needs to be careful here.Im getting a bit hacked off with him calling the officials after every loss. We can all see what happened, but there’s not a blind bit of difference anyone can make by constantly moaning. If we were given an offside goal or an iffy penalty would he be ranting? I doubt it. it won’t be our problem come next week when he’s *** off to Preston taking his staff with him, Alan Coughlin. Never mind, the compo will help pay the wages of Garner and Tisdale. Don't hang your hat on the chance of any compo. Bartons agent will have insisted on a clause that if a club from a higher level comes calling he will be free to walk.

Gets better every day, doesn’t it?

Yes, Barrett. I haven't seen anything from him yet. The odd decent pass/shot but I can't recall him ever even playing well for just 45 minutes and he's been at the club 15 months! Even if he played well in one half of a game you could virtually guarantee he'd be out injured afterwards anyway.

For some anybody who tries to give the impressive he's intelligent he's taking an hell of a long time to work out complaining about refs is fruitless/probably having a negative effect.
Telling Trevor Kettle he needs to lose weight is hardly going to encourage him to give decisions in our favour, next time he refs our games, even if it's true.

He may be hoping the constant complants and hints at rovers being discriminated against may pressurise a ref to actually give rovers a key decision. A decision that could change a game and get points on the board. But Knowing the fortunes of rovers this season. It will be a 90th minute pen awarded to rovers when they are already 4-0 down. A teams only keeper will be sent off and they have to play the next game against a relegation rival with a 17yr old in goal. So we lose 4-1 and the rival win 2-0 next game!

He's making the whole club look like lady gardens. He really is the most stupid, deluded idiot to have ever managed our club

In case anybody else missed the "penalty" decision JB's talking about: To be fair I wasn't 100% sure in real time. Looked like the Sunderland player got the ball but I wasn't sure if he'd made contact with Hanlan first. Having seen the replay I don't think he did.
I think we need to question our analyst who told Rodman on ifollow it was a stonewall penalty and no doubt passed that info on to Barton.

I agree Rodders said on the iFollow commentary that the analyst said it was a penalty and obviously that's where JB got his info, probably without seeing the footage again. I thought it might be a penalty live, but on seeing the footage again it is clear that the defender got to the ball first. Westbrooke's goal on Tuesday should have stood, but the Hanlan incident was no way a penalty. JB has made himself and the club by association, look stupid with his comments.

Not sure why the iFollow commentary team don't have a laptop in front of them watching the replays as I find myself shouting at their bad calls throughout their commentary.

Probably because Ifollow runs minutes behind, as is streaming. So by the time they see the replays, something else has happened. They might miss a goal, watching a replay from something that happened, minutes before.

Plymouth have and the viewing experience was much better. I think a couple of other L1 teams have done the same as well

In fairness even this commentator at first thought it was a pen.

From Barton's view from the dug out he may well have thought it was a penealty as his view of the Sunderland player heading the ball may have been blocked by Hanlan. It would be good if he came out now apologised realising he got it wrong. The usual Barton haters just cant't wait to jump on the band wagon

It was a penalty. Even if they head the ball together the defenders aggression left Hanlan polaxed. Stonewall penalty.

The defenders aggression wins him the ball first, Hanlan puts his body in and gets there second. It’s a 50/50 and Hanlan loses it. Never a penalty in my eyes, I’d feel aggrieved if that was given against us.

The more you look at the replay the more obvious it becomes that the Sunderland player went for the ball and Hanlon ducked out of it, they collided and he spent even more time on the deck than usual. At first it looked nothing worse than a 50/50 challenge.

We are attacking Joey here, The Gas is the ultimate goal (If we could find it!!!!)
If we were sat in the pub having a pint with Joey in charge of the Gas or Ben G in charge of the Gas how would the conversation go.
I Know where my money goes in saving the Gas from League 2
