It seems a pivotal time. But is it just a human trait that older generations look down on the young? Not me personally, but as I get older the amount of times I hear people exclaiming 'kids these days' is ridiculous. I think it just may be that, the other day I witnessed a schoolboy running up to a lady on a scooter. What did he do? He pointed out she had got some debris stuck under her wheel and helped her clear it. Like most generations, there are good ones and bad ones. Don't think kids really change much per se. It's the classic rose tinted glasses. Bad things always happen, how we process them has changed, we are exposed to stories of bad events now. That's a generalisation, there are usually social factors woven into the stories we do hear about most crime. |

Look at the vitriol aimed at Greta Thunberg, and language used to describe younger people who had the audacity to protest against totalitarianism and racism, by certain members of this forum before they migrated to the other forum where they cower in a corner pointing at all the vile people on this forum. Sad news. "A French police officer has been stabbed to death inside her police station and her attacker shot and killed nearby, authorities have said. A police source said the woman was stabbed in the throat during the attack just inside the station in Rambouillet, a town southwest of Paris home to a former royal estate. The identity of the attacker or the motive behind the assault is not immediately clear, a national police spokesperson told Associated Press news agency. The police officer was an administrative employee in the station, the spokesperson said. What’s think to the idea of having a global corporate tax rate of 21% as suggested by Biden ?
Conservative estimations of over 500 billion pounds a yr is lost , half of that from multi-nationals moving the money about to places like Luxembourg to pay a pittance on profits . I’m no expert but this has to come about surely?
