The betting will be interesting. Can see us being favourites if Bolton go up. We rarely do well as favourites. The only time I remember us achieving close to what the bookies predicted for us was in the Conference? I will be taking whatever the bookies and pundits say with a large pinch of salt.

Oh absolutely, I'm not saying we should be favourites or that it means a great deal. I just find it interesting to see how we are generally viewed for whatever league we are in. The lower leagues are where the bookies seem to get it a lot more wrong as they tend to just price up the big teams at shorter odds. We will probably be too short if anything, I would imagine between about 5/1 and 6/1, maybe shorter/bigger depending on what business we do in the summer.

Sorry GGMI I did get what you mean and you're right, it's interesting to see, but actually I find it quite annoying. I get fed up of hearing all this "You guys will be alright" and "I had you down for promotion" and all that, as it just further highlights for me how sh** we are, that we almost constantly fail to meet our targets when we're expected to do well. And not only fail, but fail absolutely miserably. We do much better as underdogs, so that's the way I like it.

feel sorry for Southend fans, think they will be down for some time Could be us if we’re not careful. That’s the scary thing about this relegation and the manner of it.

I just like a little bet, so keen on following odds etc. 😁 A lot of teams that come down from the league above tend to be shorter than they should be too. Having said that Hull were the opposite this season. They were 14/1 in the summer and that always looked a big price.

Southend as a football club in a much worse state. This season has been sh** but I think we will at least steady things next season.

At least we will have a few local Derbies, Swindon , Exeter, Newport and perhaps Forest Green again. After watching the game yesterday,we were dreadful and there will have to be a massive improvement if are not to go the same way as Southend.

If we keep investing in the ‘Bristol Rovers DNA’, and keep thinking three strikers with only one having league experience is appropriate to start a season with, then we’ll be right up sh** creek.

Unless there are wholesale changes to the squad, we will be relegated again next year. Unfortunately, most are contracted to be with us next season. on the plus side 👍🏽

Oh for just one half decent striker we could have easily turned all of those narrow defeats into points I can’t recall a Rovers Team ever being so crap up front☹️

Hasn't the DNA been binned? If not, then I doubt Barton will be here next week after his recent chat with Wael, hopefully that wasn't why he looked so down yesterday then sent Hill out for the post match presser! Looking at L2 next season it looks surprisingly average, with no real big clubs other than Bradford.

He wouldn’t be here at all if he was going so I wouldn’t read much into CH doing the presser. Barton staying = abandonment of the DNA bollucks but it’s still got me worried as the people on the board believe the bluster that comes out of their mouths.

Sutton United looking good for promotion. One to savour. their ground is sh**e If they do come up that will take our ground off the bottom( or as they say in Bristol 'Off OF the bottom') rating to 91.We were 91 previously until the demise of Macclesfield but dropped to the bottom when they folded.
