If they do come up that will take our ground off the bottom( or as they say in Bristol 'Off OF the bottom') rating to 91.We were 91 previously until the demise of Macclesfield but dropped to the bottom when they folded. Have you seen Barrow's ground, it looks like Twerton before we moved in, just one small grandstand and a small covered terrace on the opposite side.

But only two relegation places! Phew. And we beat Walsall and Orient so we should be able to stop the rot. Unfortunately the Garner legacy is going to have an effect for at least one more season, but hopefully next season we can see if any of the youngsters can actually start to fulfill any potential. But please remember None of this is Garner’s Tisdale’s or even Widdrington’s fault. The common denominator here is Wael who since he’s been here has taken the club backwards. If you respond by saying’yes but we’re debt free’ then the word delusional springs to mind.

Not sure if Wael himself came up with the "Bristolona Ticca Takka" idea or someone talked him into it.
Either way he needs to look at his trusted experts allowing this to go ahead.

🤣we are in no position to criticise any grounds 🤣utg I know the Mem is a bit tacky but I'd rather be there than Twerton, That place was a real dive compared to the Mem Much more crowd atmosphere tho , more intimidating I.m.o. ( Twerton ) Utg 💙

I wonder if Gasheads' will eat humble pie, when Joey' turns things around and make the club a success? It is so easy to criticise the man when players are so poor, without the opportunity of signing anyone. The manager deserves the opportunity to prove himself. It is good we have a manager who speaks his mind and not merely a "yes-man". If Joey fails, then criticise.

I for one am disappointed with his performance so far, but I'm not pathetic enough to not thank and applaud JB or anyone who turns a losing side into a winning one. Perhaps you should realise that just because some fans aren't convinced, doesn't mean they never will be.

It really irritates me that players can’t be sacked for getting relegated. Surely that is not performing to the requirements of the role. In my career if you don’t perform you are managed out on a capability process. If you don’t make money for the company, it’s not good for either of you. Instead we have to pay these losers. I mean, they weren’t even fit. What kind of profession is this where you can put bugger all into it and still get paid?

feel sorry for Southend fans, think they will be down for some time Could be us if we’re not careful. That’s the scary thing about this relegation and the manner of it. I think Chesterfield had two successive relegations as well. When you get on a bad run it’s hard to turn it around. And I bet Grimsby fans thought once they got back in we’re ok now. Whatever we do I hope we give this league total respect. UTG!

You don’t have 11 other blokes trying their best ta make you lose as you work. Footballs a competition, there are winners an losers in every game played. plus I has ta say, I saw plenty of effort put in, so ta say they ‘put bugger all into it’ IMO is just not true.

And let’s be really honest Joey has failed, he’s failed to keep us in this league with loads of games left. Don’t want to repeat all the old arguments but let’s stop being delusional, he has failed but I hope he can turn it around with his own players and a pre-season to get a much fitter, more prepared team and squad. And I will give him support as I always do. But if he and the team go into League 2 with a similar delusional approach we will be in trouble. Everyone, players, owner, board, JB need to accept they have failed and make sure they all perform better. UTG!

Those that followed Rovers every week in the Vanarama, I would expect similar attitudes from most Gasheads this time around. No big club mentality nonsense, respect the league/opposition & position we are in. & Hope for a good solid start to the campaign, for once.

How is it that football league clubs can carry on indefinitely despite being millions of pounds in debt? Some of the Premiere league clubs are hundreds of millions in the red!! Yet Joe Bloggs & Co are closed down in no time. It seems Sky broadcaster is hardly the saviour. Perhaps that is part of the problem.

One thing's for sure. It wont be easy. This is now our level unfortunately. Ta be fair pal, it’s been our level for th last 16 months. It is what it is. Suck it up an enjoy it. 👍 YES JOCK! I've been saying the same thing, people think this happened this season with the most recent manager when in reality we've been heading here for about 16 months as you say

Looking forward to the first shout of “ we’ve gotta give them time to gel” after 6 points from the first 5 games 😀 Honestly??? That'll probably be me

I’m sure you could have clauses like this in contracts but I guess that unless all clubs do it, it would put you at a disadvantage in attracting players to sign for you.

I do, I work in corporate sales. I’ve seen opposition teams let the tyres down on other companies reps cars! It totally does involve other people trying to make me lose. Even with effort, I can still get fired if I don’t make profitable contributions to the bottom line. That’s how it works. Granted most people’s jobs don’t work this way, but the way they justify this method of working is by saying “it’s like football. Footballers can’t Keep playing till they’re 60, performance is relevant”

I suspect HMS p#$$ the league is a leaky old tub mind you ....
