The Grealish incident was accidental. Both players arrived at the ball within a fraction of a second of each other. The Italian went to toe end the ball and his boot was knocked up in the tackle. No way was it foul play. What total nonsense, in that case why did he even get a yellow? As the BBC commentary team suggested it probably warranted an amber! Nonsense? Grealish was the player who went for the ball with both feet and was already in his way down, the Italian arrived at the same time in an up right position and attempted to toe end the ball. Grealishes legs knocked the Italian over and the collision resulted in his boot studs connecting with Grealish. No way in the fraction of a second could he intend to catch him. Interestingly media pundits have seen it both ways. The ref in real-time saw it as a yellow and VAR did not disagree with his decision. That tells me two referees thought it was a yellow and was not a deliberate foul. Exactly how I saw it!

Calls to ban people attending football matches, either connected to the troubles at the game or racist posts.
How do we know any of these people go to football matches?
Boris saying he will ban the racists from games is just political rubbish!

Then we can see who is really responsible.

My thoughts for what they’re worth, the refereeing in the tournament was superb, I’ve never seen better, consistent , fair, and not bullied by any player into making poor decisions, of course in the main, there were a few mistakes but the tournament was a better spectacle for the quality of the officials. We lost on penalties, it happens to England, but the 2nd youngest squad in the competition and we got to the final and ended unbeaten on the pitch, I’d say reasons to be optimistic going forward

And quite right, considering the standard of officials we have had to witness for a long time now. Come on Staffs (colyton), out of retirement you come.

The likes of Bellingham, Sancho, Foden, Saka, James Rice etc will be key for England going forward. Plus Watkins, Calvert Lewin, Grealish, Phillips are mid 20's and will be around for a while yet It's a shame we will probably have to wait until the next Euros, as I cant see us faring as well in the heat of Qatar

Glad to see we are a few years in front of the likes of Germany, Portugal. Only negative is that we are very young and that lack of experience showed in extra time and penalties, I include Southgate in that also.

I've never come across the term 'jibbing', but from the footage I've seen a lot of those people looked old enough to remember Hillsborough..... What a bunch of c****..... Not sure if 'jibbing' is London slang - I've seen Chelsea and Millwall fans using it for quite a few years.

Qatar Gas will confirm that im sure but I have been to Doha a few times in winter months and although it can get to near 30'C in the day time it can be quite chilly by night.

Yep certainly won’t be any hotter than it was during Russia, Brazil etc Good chance of some rain that time of year too. We get some really heavy rain once every couple of years or so which is normally around October-December time. The final is on Dec 18th, same day that Liverpool played in the CWC final back in 2019. It rained during the day and a jumper was needed in the evening.

"FIFA has confirmed the first two rounds of matches will kick off at 1pm, 4pm, 7pm and 10pm local time (10am, 1pm, 4pm and 7pm in the United Kingdom). Kick-off times in the final round of group games and knock-out round matches will be at 6pm and 10pm local time (3pm and 7pm UK time)" Still gonna be roasty for the earlier kick offs and will favour the south americans/Africans

They were still born and brought up in their native countries and also return to them regularly to play internationals/visit their families etc.
