An away trip to either holds no appeal whatsoever. Tiny Rebel brewery in Newport. Luvvvvly jubbbly. Excellent beers from that brewery, and a proper independent.

It's hard to believe we use to regularly beat them and that Griffin Park was no better than the Mem, now they are in the Premiership in a brand new ground. I wonder if they had posters questioning why they needed a new stadium as Griffin Park was big enough?

Really looking forward to Foden vs Mount later. Think Foden could be the best English player ever, he's that good IMO.
As for the matches, I thought Brentford would do it. It was just their time. I think the same with Man City tonight.
League one is hard to call.
League Two I think Newport.

Well done Bee's!, good example of what can be done when you get it right. Modest new stadium, i do not know much about owners or how new stadium was funded , also they seemed to be able to attract some very good players. Wael ,get on the phone!

Big Congrats to Brentford, I'm so pleased for them. If they can do it then why can't we...... Guess I will still be asking that Question in 20 years when I'm not far off 70?
Its about time BRFC started to show the same bloody desire' Stadium would be a major start!

An away trip to either holds no appeal whatsoever. Tiny Rebel brewery in Newport. Luvvvvly jubbbly. Gareth and Brad who started/run Tiny Rebel used to work in an Electrical contractor in Newport. Both had a love of brewing and beer and turned it into a successful business. Two absolutely cracking blokes and deserve the success they are having.

"why can't we" probably something to do with not having the £100m(?) their owner has spent on building their new ground?

Morecambe not that bad a place for a w/end away, Harrogate is lovely, Torquay possibly, best start saving! Harrogate is a lovely place we stayed there when we played york a few seasons ago, would definitely go back.

I think Man City will win but very interesting that Man City have no holding midfielder. You would expect Man City to dominate possession but Chelsea could hit them on the counter. Like I say though still think Man City will win as they have the better team.

First non-Rovers game (excluding England) I've watched in ages! Without fans, I just haven't cared about football in the same way. Also - massive congrats to Brentford, they're a genuine inspiration to all lower league clubs about what you can do if you're run well.

I am. Trying to work out who I want to win. Probably City. On a more important note, why have they both been allowed to play in shades of blue? ![???](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/huh.png)

Not fussed who wins but Chelsea with a deserved lead imo. Decent open game so far and liking the look of Reece James at RB.
