He's a raw talent IMO.

I was glad we kept him as he has ability for sure, he's just weak. Some keep saying his crossing sucks but i actually think it's really decent. He often puts in accurate crosses, much more consistent than Broghammer and co. Hope we keep him and help him develop. If we can get him stronger without losing his pace he's got something.

And I look smart so that's a big compliment.

Pacy but raw, if he gets a bit stronger and sharper I think he will go far. I'd like it to be with us but guess we need the cash!

I'm glad someone else has seen something in his crossing, just need a to be a bit stronger, but not to bulk up like Harrison and loose his pace.

Pace. Yes.
If there's one thing we should be looking for it is pace. My old man said last night if you have a list of potential signings you should ask have they got pace? If they haven't got pace they shouldn't even be considered.
His theory is that if you have midfielders or defenders with pace and they make a mistake, they get another go at it. The carthorses we have been watching screw up and then that's it.
p.s. What do you guys think of Mildenhall? Staying?

His little lad is gorgeous, reckon he could be a bit of a powerhouse in defence when he's older.

I saw him play over two years for the youth team and he improved massively in his second year. He is skilful, can cross with both feet and is a good finisher. He isn't the biggest but wingers aren't always - look at Cox for Leyton Orient one of the best or maybe the best wide player in L1 and 2. Alfie is a confident lad who likes to express himself on the pitch unfortunately he was playing in a struggling team and needed experienced players around him to guide him and encourage him. He can definitely make it in the game but in my view has to learn when to attack the full back and when to release quickly cos he can hang onto the ball a bit too long. I hope he stays with us - the best is yet to come. I hope his heart is still in it to play for us.

Mildenhall - great shot stopper and good on crosses but his decision making with distribution is woeful - compare him to the Rochdale keeper when he played at The Mem near the end of the season. Will DC do anything about this ? If he goes, maybe difficult to get someone as reliable as him.

Unfortunately too many of our know it all fans seem to have written him off already (not necessarily on here but certainly other forums!) Premier league scouts wouldn't want him if he didn't have something about him.

You can easily coach distribution (and I'm not just talking about the individual player, you can coach the team as a whole). The Rochdale keeper was made to look good because his players wanted the ball, something that hampered Mildenhall (and indeed any Rovers player just trying to take a throw-in) all season....

Wow, shocked by this. I don't rate him that much at all. Don't get me wrong, I know he can still improve as is still young (and I'm sure he will) but I'd have been surprised if a League One Clun had come knocking. A Prem side?! Christ.
I assume the offer was a water take as if it were reasonable I'd have definitely let him go. Personally I don't think he's ready yet for the Conference! Too lightweight and raw.
Amazed by this. Cheerio penis.
